The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet and absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core comprises an absorbent material positioned within a core wrap. The absorbent core defines a first channel therein. A material is positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the core wrap. The material defines a second channel therein.

Absorbent articles with channels

A package comprising an interior space and an exterior surface may have a plurality of disposable absorbent articles disposed within the interior space of the package. Each of the disposable absorbent articles may have a topsheet; a backsheet; an absorbent core located between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent products may exhibit an In-Bag Stack Height of less about 80 mm as measured according to an In-Bag Stack Height Test.

Absorbent products having improved packaging efficiency

The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a liquid management system (LMS) and an absorbent core disposed at least partially intermediate a topsheet and a backsheet. The LMS defines one or more channels therein. The one or more channels of the LMS may at least partially overlap or not overlap with channels defined in the absorbent core.

The absorbent material is profiled along the longitudinal direction so that at least one of the eight deposition zones is a zone of lower absorbent material amount and the auxiliary glue is absent, or present at a level of at least 50% by weight lower than the average amount of auxiliary glue in at least one of these zones of lower absorbent material amount.

A process for shipping absorbent products having a substantially airfelt free absorbent core, on pallets, is provided. The loaded pallet comprises a plurality of packages, each having a plurality of disposable absorbent articles disposed within the interior space of the package, wherein the plurality of packages are arranged on the pallet such that the plurality of packages on the pallet exhibit a density of from about 11.0 lbs/ftto about 14.6 lbs/ft.

A method for making a disposable absorbent core comprises depositing absorbent particulate polymer material from a plurality of reservoirs in a printing roll onto a substrate disposed on a grid of a support which includes a plurality of cross bars extending substantially parallel to and spaced from one another so as to form channels extending between the plurality of cross bars. The plurality of reservoirs in the first peripheral surface are arranged in an array comprising rows extending substantially parallel to and spaced from one another. Substantially planar absorbent core comprising at least 80% and up to 100% by weight of superabsorbent polymer as absorbent material on an absorbent material deposition area and a core wrap. The absorbent material deposition area comprises at least one absorbent material-free channel-forming areas through which the top and bottom substrates of the core wrap are bonded together. An auxiliary glue is applied directly at least to the inner surface of the first substrate on an auxiliary glue application area. The auxiliary glue application area is smaller than the absorbent material deposition area and the core comprises at least one C-wrap seal along at least one edge, in particular along the two longitudinally extending edges of the core.
