A motor apparatus for a switch drive of an electric switch has an electric motor and a control apparatus for controlling the electric motor. The control apparatus has a power supply device for the electrical power supply of the electric motor. The electric power supply has a rectifier unit, a voltage measurement unit for detecting the supply voltage or a rectifier output voltage of the rectifier unit, a switch unit for generating a drive voltage for the electric motor from the supply voltage or from the rectifier output voltage, and a control unit for controlling the switch unit as a function of the supply or rectifier output voltage detected. Accordingly, the motor apparatus has a motor housing which, besides the electric motor, houses part of the power supply device and/or at least part of the control unit.

Motor apparatus for a switch drive of an electrical switch

An arrangement and a method have precisely one resistor stack for switching high voltages. The arrangement contains a switching device that has two contact devices, which are arranged in an insulator. The contact devices are separated from each other by a separation path, wherein the separation path can be bridged by a movable contact piece. One contact device is in contact with the resistor stack in a common housing. The common housing is formed by a direct coating of the resistor stack and the insulator.

A hollow insulator for high electric voltages has an insulating tube and a covering of the insulating tube made from a fiber-reinforced plastic. The covering is placed on an outer surface of the insulating tube. There is also described a method for producing the type of hollow insulator.

A vacuum switch includes two mutually spaced apart bases and a vacuum interrupter disposed between the bases and connected to the bases. A first switching element is disposed in the vacuum interrupter. A second switching element is movable between a first switching position, in which the second switching element galvanically or electrically conductively contacts the first switching element, and a second switching position, in which the second switching element is separated from the first switching element. Each of a plurality of rod-shaped supporting elements has a first end section connected to the first base and a second end section connected to the second base. The bases and the support elements form a support cage which surrounds and supports the vacuum interrupter.

Switching device and switch-off method for operating a switching device

A direct-current switching device switches direct currents, in particular direct currents in the kiloampere range. The switching device contains a switching unit, a resonant circuit, and an overvoltage arrester. During the switching off of the switching unit, the resonant circuit produces an oscillating resonant current, which is superposed with the direct current still flowing through the switching unit during the switching off of the switching unit. Accordingly, connected in series with the switching unit, hereinafter referred to as the first switching unit, is a second switching unit, the switching behavior of which differs from the switching behavior of the first switching unit, and the resonant circuit and the arrester lie electrically in parallel with the series connection.

Direct-current switching device

A switching device for switching bipolar DC currents in a high-voltage system includes at least two electromechanical switching units and a semiconductor switching arrangement. The electromechanical switching units have a first switching status and a second switching status. In the first switching status, the DC current can be passed via at least one of the electromechanical switching units without in this case flowing via the semiconductor switching arrangement. In the second switching status of the electromechanical switching units, the DC current can be passed via the semiconductor switching arrangement and can be switched off.

Switching device

A switch for a high-voltage direct current transmission path includes a vacuum circuit breaker for disconnecting the transmission path and a gas-insulated circuit breaker for disconnecting the transmission path. The gas-insulated circuit breaker is connected in series with the vacuum circuit breaker. A device is provided for building up a counter-current against the current in the transmission path for the purpose of reducing the current across the vacuum circuit breaker. The elements of the switch are actuated by a control device in such a way that the switch is switched off at or close to the zero crossing of the current.
