A bending transducer includes a deflectable element, a microelectromechanical transducer extending along a centroid fiber of the deflectable element deflecting the deflectable element in a first direction when a first electrical signal is applied, and a second microelectromechanical transducer extending along the centroid fiber deflecting the deflectable element in a second direction opposite to the first direction when a second electrical signal is applied, the centroid fiber being located between sides of the first and second microelectromechanical transducers facing away from each other, and an electrical control configured to vary the first and second electrical signals depending on an input signal such that a change of the first electrical signal and a change of the second electrical signal depends on the electrical input signal, and the phases of the first and second electrical signals are shifted relative to each other. A bending transducer operated as sensor is also presented.

This invention relates to a microelectromechanical loudspeaker implemented as a system-on-chip or system-in-package. The microelectromechanical loudspeaker includes a microelectromechanical sound-generating device implemented in a microelectromechanical system (MEMS) and a microphone mounted on the cover or integrated in the cover, wherein the microphone is positioned adjacent to one of the sound outlet openings of the cover. The MEMS comprises a cavity formed between a planar cover, a planar base and circumferential sidewalls provided between the cover and the base. The MEMS further comprises a plurality of movable actuators for generating sound. The actuators are provided in the cavity between the cover and the base, and wherein the cover and the base have a plurality of sound outlet openings to emit sound in a direction transverse to the cover and the base, respectively.

Microelectromechanical sound transducer system

Micromechanical sound transducer including a plurality of unilaterally suspended bending transducers. The plurality of bending transducers are configured for deflection within a plane of vibration and are arranged side by side within the plane of vibration along a first axis and are extending along a second axis which is transverse to the first axis. The bending transducers are alternately suspended on opposite sides and engage with one another. Each bending transducer includes a first electrode and a second electrode which are located opposite one another along the first axis to cause deflections of the respective bending transducer along the first axis upon application of voltage. Mutually facing electrodes of adjacent bending transducers are electrically connected to one another by a transverse connection crossing the plane of vibration transverse to the first axis.

Micromechanical sound transducer

An array of electroacoustic actuators includes at least five electroacoustic actuators, wherein the electroacoustic actuators are connected such that, in a first parallel branch, at least two electroacoustic actuators are connected in series and, in a second parallel branch, an electroacoustic actuator is connected in series to a parallel connection of two electroacoustic actuators, the first parallel branch being connected in parallel to the second parallel branch, and the parallel branches connected in parallel being configured to be driven by an actuator amplifier, or wherein the electroacoustic actuators are connected such that, in a first serial branch, at least two electroacoustic actuators are connected in parallel and, in a second serial branch, an electroacoustic actuator is connected in parallel to a serial connection of two electroacoustic actuators, the first serial branch being connected in series to the second serial branch, and the parallel branches connected in series being configured to be driven by an actuator amplifier.

Array of electroacoustic actuators and method for producing an array

A loudspeaker array includes an encapsulated baffle and a multitude of sound transducers. The encapsulated baffle includes a multitude of recesses arranged next to each other on a first main surface. The sound transducers of the multitude of sound transducers are arranged in the associated recesses such that an encapsulated rear volume is formed by each recess for the respective sound transducer.

Loudspeaker array

An electroacoustic driver includes a diaphragm, a diaphragm drive system and a diaphragm suspension. The diaphragm system is configured to subject the diaphragm to a motion, wherein the diaphragm suspension is configured to guide the diaphragm. The diaphragm drive system includes an active element configured to actively influence the motion of the diaphragm.

Electroacoustic driver

A loudspeaker includes a sound transducer, a housing and a unit configured to influence the temperature, such as a pressure compensation element. The sound transducer includes a membrane, the membrane enclosing a gas volume along with the housing. The sound transducer is configured to cause the membrane to vibrate, so that the gas volume is changed in accordance with the vibration. The unit configured to influence the temperature is configured to counteract a change of state, which is due to the membrane vibration, by means of a change in temperature of the gas volume.

Loudspeaker with pressure compensation element

A flat panel loudspeaker with such an emission characteristic is obtained which, in the event of the flat panel loudspeaker being set up inversely, provides an improved listening result in that a loudspeaker is provided within the housing, and a sound conduction is configured such that sound from the loudspeaker is conducted outward via an acoustic aperture within the housing for undirected emission.
