An attachment comb is provided for a hair clipper, and includes a comb body having a leading edge and an attachment edge, a blade-engaging surface and an opposite outer surface, and a plurality of teeth projecting from the leading edge. Sidewalls on the comb body project from the body, and at least one of the sidewalls defines a magnet opening. The blade-engaging surface has a magnet recess located adjacent a corresponding magnet opening, the magnet recess defining a magnet pocket. A magnet has a peripherally projecting base flange and is constructed and arranged for insertion through the magnet opening and such that the flange is insertable into the recess and the magnet is disposed in the magnet pocket so that a blade contacting surface of the magnet is in direct contact with a corresponding clipper blade upon assembly of the comb upon a clipper blade.

A holder for holding a plurality of blades, where one embodiment of the holder includes a base portion, a main body and an openable cover portion. The main body is preferably configured and arranged to be removably attached to the base portion. A blade calibration gauge for a bladeset for a hair cutter has a moving blade laterally reciprocating relative to a stationary blade, where the moving blade and the stationary blade are adjustable relative to one another in a direction normal to a direction of reciprocation. The blade calibration gauge has a base defining a recess configured for receiving the stationary blade and providing a first stop for engaging a toothed edge of the stationary blade, and a second stop on the base disposed relative to first stop for providing a designed offset spacing for a toothed cutting edge of the moving blade relative to the corresponding toothed edge of the fixed blade.

An air pulse attachment for a handheld dryer includes a shell defining a passage within the shell. The passage in the shell communicates the dryer with an outlet. A pulse valve is pivotably disposed in the passage and has a pivot axis. At least one deflection member is associated with the outlet of the shell and is rotatable with respect to the pivot axis. The at least one deflection member is configured for deflecting the air from the dryer.

An interlocking stand for storing and charging a rechargeable appliance such as a hair trimmer or hair clipper having a rechargeable battery includes a structure for supporting the appliance for storage. The supporting structure has at least one electrical contact for connecting to the appliance and a structure for providing power to the contact. The interlocking stand is also provided with structure that interlocks the stand with at least one other stand.

An attachment for a handheld dryer includes a shell and a dryer barrel-receiving portion. A first passage is defined between the shell and the dryer and terminates in a shell inlet defined between the shell and the dryer barrel. The present attachment may be useful to increase volumetric flow and/or velocity of flow from a handheld dryer.

An apparatus for associating a size of an attachment comb for a hair cutting device with a color on or of the attachment comb representing that particular size. The apparatus includes a chart having a plurality of symbols that pictorially represents both the attachment comb sizes of a plurality of attachment combs, and the colors related to the respective attachment comb sizes. A hair dryer attachment system provides a dryer and a plurality of attachments. A fastening mechanism is provided so that multiple attachments are each securable to the generally circular or ovate dryer barrel using the same fastening technology. Each of the attachments forms part of the barrel, and when used with the preferred present shortened barrel, a so-called &ldquo;standard-length&rdquo; drier is provided which provides the additional benefits of the respective attachments, without being overly long so as to be cumbersome during use. Each attachment features an apron which is supported by the barrel and, with engagement formations on the barrel and complementary formations on the apron, the attachment is releasably secured to the barrel.
