A mount comprise multiple mounting locations for mounting various accessories in relation to a mounting surface. The mount comprises a proximate mounting location configured to be mounted in relation to the mounting surface, and multiple distal mounting locations for mounting accessories in a spaced relation to the proximate mounting location. An accessory may be mounted at the proximate mounting location, while at the same time, mounting the mount to the mounting surface. The distal mounting location may be spaced apart and elevated in relation to the proximate mounting location so that a user may reach between and below the distal mounting locations. The mount may also be configured to be mounted in a cantilevered fashion in relation to the mounting surface. The mount may be provided with an interlocking feature or surface, which may be in the form of a ratcheting or indexable feature, which may permit angular adjustment of the mount at discrete positions. The mount may support a tether, which may be stowed in closed out of the way in proximity to the mount, and which may be deployed to hold an accessory in relation to an accessory mount.

A T-bolt locking device provides positive engagement of a T-bolt with a track as well as prevents disengagement from the track when loosening the T-bolt sufficiently to allow movement of an accessory along a slot in the track to a new position. Tightening the accessory onto the T-bolt secures flanges of the head of the T-bolt against an inner surface of the track while fixing the accessory to the track. The T-bolt locking device comprises opposing tabs configured to pass through the slot in the track and receive the flanges of the head of the T-bolt, whereby the locking device is in the engaged position, preventing rotation of the head of the T-bolt in relation to the tabs. When fastening the T-bolt and locking device, if the locking device does not seat against the track surface, this indicates that the T-bolt is under-rotated and not properly engaged with the track because the opposing tabs of the locking device are contacting the upper face of the T-bolt flange. This prevents the opposing flanges of the head of the T-bolt from being received between the terminal inner surfaces of the tabs of the locking device, and thus, prevents the accessory from being tightened against the track.

A tee-bolt for use with an accessory mounting track provides a quick and easy removable attachment of various devices. The tee-bolt comprises a head comprising upper and lower surfaces and a female threaded hole passing therethrough between the upper and lower surfaces, and a stud comprising a male thread having an end threaded through the head so that the end is flush with the lower surface of the head and a portion of the stud extends from the upper surface of the head. The end of the stud is flared outwardly within the threaded hole and flush with the lower surface of the head by the application of pressure to form a flare that interacts with the head to inhibit separation of the head and the stud.

Tee-bolt for use with accessory mounting track

A crate has an arrangement of fastening holes for mounting crate components, as well as various mounts and accessories to the outer and inner surface of the crate. The fastening holes are blind holes that do not breach, penetrate or pass-through panels defining the crate so that the crate remains watertight or sealed or leakproof. The fastening holes may be arranged to provide points of intersection for rules or guides that define a grid to aid in mounting components, mounts and accessories at desired locations. Outer fastening holes are provided in a repeating pattern and superimposed on inner fastening holes. The fastening holes provide for ease of customization without the need for drilling.

A fishing rod holder for holding a fishing rod to an environmental supporting object, such as a watercraft. The fishing rod holder may include a body having a trough to receive the fishing rod, a collar rotatable to entrap the rod within the trough.

A ball mount comprises a rigid insert extended through a region of the ball mount traversing an intersection of a ball and a neck portion to reinforce and strengthen the area of intersection. A rigid insert can be threaded to allow for mechanical attachment of the ball mount to a supporting surface.

An accessory mounting track provides quick and easy removable attachment and positioning of various devices. The method of attachment of devices to the accessory mounting track may be compatible with the attachment of these devices to other mounting systems, allowing the accessory mounting track to be used interchangeably with those systems.

A track is provided with a geometry that automatically aligns a T-bolt with the opening at the terminal end of the track to make the use of the T-bolt and track combination faster and easier, and allow single-handed installation of T-bolts and accessories using T-bolts with slotted accessory mounting tracks.

A mounting structure has characteristics, properties, or features that provide stability for the accessories mounted or supported in relation thereto. The mounting structure may be in the form of a rigid or a semi-rigid composition, which may be formed at least in part by, or sufficiently covered or coated with, a material having a damping capacity, or an ability to isolate an accessory for a vessel, a slotted track supported in relation to the vessel, or a mounting arrangement supported in relation to the vessel or the slotted track. The mounting structure may be in the form of an extension arm for offsetting the accessory laterally, crosswise or transversely in relation to the vessel, slotted track, or mounting arrangement. The extension arm may include, or carry, a surface, that is configured to interlock with a surface of a mating structure, namely, a mounting arrangement and/or an accessory or accessory mount. The surface may be in the form of a ratcheting surface comprising radially extending protrusions or recesses that cooperate with mating radially extending recesses or protrusions supported by the surface of the mating structure. The mating surfaces interlock to prohibit movement of one surface in relation to another, for example, to hold the mounting structure in fixed relation to the mounting arrangement and/or the accessory, or the accessory mount.

Accessory mount extension arm

An accessory mount allows accessories to be removably and adjustably mounted to a surface. In an example, the surface may be that of a watercraft, and the accessory may be a fishing rod. The mount may be used with a track fixable to an environmental surface or mounted directed to the environmental surface. When used with a track, a post of the accessory mount releaseably engages the track. Slidable engagement of the post allows lateral or horizontal adjustment of the accessory. An accessory engaging member is adjustable in relation to the post about a horizontal axis and a vertical axis, so that angular and azimuthal rotational adjustments of the accessory are enabled. A single lever is used to make angular and rotational adjustments, and to release the accessory engaging member from the post.
