A management system, a smart meter, a server, an operation method and a management method are provided. The management system includes a remote server and at least one smart meter. The smart meter is coupled to the remote server via a communication network. The smart meter measures electrical energy of at least one power line to obtain at least one batch of electricity data. The smart meter detects whether the loading event occurs. If the loading event occurs, the smart meter performs data compression on the electricity data obtained during an event period corresponding to the loading event to obtain compressed data, and uploads the compressed data to the remote server. The remote server performs data decompression on the compressed data to obtain decompressed data. The remote server performs load identification according to the decompressed data.

Management system, smart meter, server, operation method and management method

A method for identifying an electric appliance and an apparatus and a system thereof are provided. The method includes the following steps: respectively collecting a first power event on a first phase power and a second power event on a second phase power; when the first power event and/or the second power event are collected, determining whether the first power event and the second power event substantially occur at the same time; if not, identifying an unknown electric appliance as a first type electric appliance; and if yes, determining whether the first power event and the second power event are substantially the same, wherein if yes, identifying the unknown electric appliance as a second type electric appliance, and if no, identifying the unknown electric appliance as the first type electric appliance.

A method for identifying an electronic apparatus is provided. The method is adapted for a monitor apparatus in a power system, and includes the following steps of adaptively updating a power signature database related to at least one electronic apparatus; adaptively updating a line resistance database related to the monitor apparatus; detecting whether at least one power signature event occurs; calculating a system impedance of the at least one power signature event when the at least one power signature event occurs; and identifying at least one unknown electronic apparatus resulting the at least one power signature event according to the system impedance, the power signature database and the line resistance database.

Monitor apparatus and method for identifying electronic apparatus thereof

A dual-mode wireless sensor network system including a local wireless sensor, a local event processing device, and a remote event processing device is provided. The local wireless sensor detects and announces an abnormal event. The local event processing device and the remote event processing device receive the abnormal event announcement. When the local wireless sensor detects the abnormal event, the local wireless sensor encrypts an abnormal event message related to the abnormal event with a regular mode key and transmits the encrypted abnormal event message to the local event processing device. When the local wireless sensor does not receive a response message from the local event processing device, the local wireless sensor encrypts the abnormal event message with a special mode key and transmits the encrypted abnormal event message to the remote event processing device. Thereby, the abnormal event can be successfully announced even with highly protected privacy.

Dual-mode wireless sensor network system and key establishing method and event processing method thereof

A method for positioning a mobile device includes following steps. Based on a prior location point of the mobile device, many sample points are generated according to a prior probability distribution associated with the prior location point. A current moving track or a current moving status of the mobile device is obtained, and the sample points are updated according to at least one of the current moving track and the current moving status. A current estimated position is obtained based on a radio frequency signal received by the mobile device. A current probability distribution of the sample points corresponding to the radio frequency signal or the current estimated position is generated to obtain corresponding weights of the updated sample points. A current location point of the mobile device is obtained according to the weights and distribution of the sample points.

Method and apparatus for positioning mobile device

A wireless sensing system and a method thereof are provided. The wireless sensing system includes: a data processing center; and a first sensor module for processing a first source data into a first dynamic counting sketch data structure. The first dynamic counting sketch data structure has a bit length determined based on the first source data. The data processing center estimates the first source data based on the first dynamic counting sketch data.

Wireless sensing system and method thereof

A wireless sensor network and data sensing method thereof are provided. A prediction model is established according to sensed data. When statistical value of the sensed data is within a user allowable range, the average value of the sensed data is returned to a user based on the prediction model. Alternatively, when the statistical value of the sensed data is beyond the user allowable range, actually sensed data is returned to the user based on the prediction model. In addition, the prediction model may further be dynamically updated according to subsequently received sensed data.

Wireless sensor network and data sensing method thereof

Disclosed relates to an access control system and method based on hierarchical keys. The system comprises an access control server (ACS), a home gateway, and a plurality of sensor devices disposed on a home network. The ACS sets up user's access limits of authority and authorization verifier, and saves the related data of user's password and the user's access limits of authority. The gateway records the authority limits' level and the authority limits' key which are constructed based on a hierarchical key structure. When a user logs in the ACS to request access, an one-time communication key between the user and the home gateway is established by exchanging the ticket and the token that are issued by the ACS. This allows the user to access the information of the sensor devices.

A method for resuming data transmission in a data transmission system including multiple information processing units and at least one mobile device, the multiple information processing units and the mobile device each including a wireless communication component, the method includes: transmitting data, by a first one of the multiple information processing units, to the mobile device; recording a transmission status of the mobile device, the transmission status including information regarding an unfinished data transmission by the first information processing unit to the mobile device; and resuming transmitting data relating to the unfinished data transmission, by a second one of the multiple information processing units, to the mobile device based on the recorded transmission status.

System and method for resumable data transmission

A multicast communication method for relaying a multicast packet from a first member node to a plurality of second member nodes in a wireless network is provided, wherein the first member node and the second member nodes belong to a same group and can communicate with each other via a plurality of non-member nodes. In the multicast communication method, a number and distances of the second member nodes are recorded. The multicast packet is received from the first member node, and a waiting time is determined according to the number and the distances of the second member nodes. Whether the multicast packet is broadcasted by any other relay node is monitored during the waiting time. If the multicast packet is already broadcasted to all the second member nodes by other relay node, the multicast packet is not broadcasted; otherwise, the multicast packet is broadcasted after the waiting time elapses.
