A method including receiving a request to access a meeting record from a user is provided. The meeting record may indicate at least one meeting participant, an audio/video recording and a presentation from one of the participants in the meeting. The method includes verifying an access privilege of the user for the meeting record, providing the meeting record to the user, for playback of a selected portion, and providing, in the meeting record, a selecting tool to the user, for playing the selected portion, wherein the selecting tool is configured to playback the selected portion for one of multiple participants in the meeting.

User access to meeting recordings

A method including receiving a request to access a meeting record from a user is provided. The meeting record includes an identification for at least one participant in a meeting, an audio recording for the at least one participant, a video recording for the at least one participant, and a presentation from one of the participants in the meeting. The method includes verifying an access privilege of the user for the meeting record, providing the meeting record to the user, for playback of a selected portion, and providing, in the meeting record, a selecting tool to the user, for playing the selected portion, wherein the selecting tool is configured to playback the selected portion for one of multiple participants in the meeting.

Interactive meeting recordings

A method for providing a meeting record to a meeting participant is provided. The method includes identifying a presence, in a meeting, of one participant and identifying a start of the meeting. The method also includes recording during the meeting, from the participant or from multiple participants, an audio, a video, and recording, from one of the participants in the meeting, a presentation. The method includes creating a meeting record with identifications of the participants in the meeting, the audio of the participant, the video of the participant, and the presentation from one of the participants in the meeting by forming a timeline file with a condensed transcript of highlights from the audio and the video, and providing the meeting record for a playback to a second participant in the meeting, upon request. A system and a non-transitory medium storing instructions to cause the system to perform the above method are also provided.

System for providing a meeting record for playback to participants in an online meeting

Methods and systems for recommending events during a media session are provided. In one aspect, a method includes monitoring communication streams of the session and analyzing data of the streams to detect at least one intent and at least one entity. The method includes determining, responsive to detecting the at least one intent, whether the at least one intent is a question or a task, and includes identifying, responsive to determining that the at least one intent is the question is associated with the at least one entity, presence information associated with the at least one entity. The method includes transmitting, during the session, responsive to determining that the at least one intent is the question associated with the at least one entity and based on the presence information, an in-session recommendation to initiate an event associated with the at least one entity. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Recommendations based on in-session communications

Methods and systems for managing media quality of a collaboration are provided. In one aspect, a method includes determining whether first and at least second clients are associated with a first and second identified location, respectively, that are associated with a first set of discovered constraints calculated from monitoring first parameters of at least one previous collaboration session associated with the first identified location and with a second set of discovered constraints calculated from monitoring second parameters of at least one previous collaboration session associated with the second identified location, respectively. The method also includes, in response to determining that the clients are associated with the identified locations, respectively, establishing a collaboration session at an initial state between the clients, wherein session constraints corresponding to the initial state are applied to media parameters of the collaboration session and are based on at least the sets of discovered constraints.

A method including receiving, from a participant, a request for starting an event including at least one second participant and a topic is provided. The method includes providing to one second participant an invitation to join the event, receiving, from any one of the participants, a document, and providing the document to all participants for view and/or editing, and providing the document to all participants upon request within a time period. The method includes granting access to the event to a participant, permitting the participant to access and modify the document in the event, and receiving a request from one of the participants to switch one of the first client device or a second client device used by a participant to continue to participate in the event. A customer premises router identifies contacts based on web sites visited and searches conducted by a user device. The customer premises router also detects phone calls initiated by a user device (e.g., a Voice over IP telephony device), and identifies an association between a phone call to an identified called destination (e.g., a destination telephone number) and an identified contact, based on a prescribed association attribute. The identified associations are stored in nonvolatile memory. Any subsequent web request by a user device and related to the contact causes the customer premises router to supply to the user device the identified association specifying the contact and the identified called destination, enabling a user of the user device to determine the identified called destination for the contact, even if the visited web sites do not provide the identified called destination.

Generation of contact information based on associating browsed content to user actions

A method for executing a video conference is provided that includes receiving one or more audio streams associated with a video conference from one or more end points and determining an active speaker associated with one of the end points. Audio information associated with the active speaker may be received at one or more media switches. One or more video streams may be suppressed except for a selected video stream associated with the active speaker, the selected video stream propagating to one or more of the media switches during the video conference. The selected video stream may be replicated such that it may be communicated to one or more of the end points associated with a selected one of the media switches.

System and method for performing distributed video conferencing

In one embodiment, a method can include: (i) establishing an internet protocol (IP) connection; (ii) forming a buffered version of a plurality of voice frame slices from received audio packets; and (iii) when an erasure is detected, performing a packet loss concealment (PLC) to provide a synthesized speech signal for the erasure, where the PLC can include: (a) identifying first and second pitches from the buffered version of the plurality of voice frame slices; and (b) forming the synthesized speech signal by using the first and second pitches, and more if needed, followed by an overlay-add (OLA).

According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for performing video conferencing is provided that includes an I-frame injector element operable to intercept I-frame requests from one or more end points and to attempt to service the I-frame requests such that at least a portion of the requests are prevented from propagating back to an originating sender. In more specific embodiments, when a receiver endpoint sends a fast video update (FVU) request upstream, it is intercepted by the I-frame injector element and rather than passing the FVU request to the sender the I-frame injector element replaces a next P-frame from the sender with an I-frame, whereby the I-frame is constructed so that when decoded, it matches the P-frame that it replaced. In still more detailed embodiments, the I-frame injector element operates in one of three modes that are associated with bandwidth parameters.

In one embodiment, a method that includes receiving a plurality of packet streams input from different endpoints, packets of each stream including encrypted and unencrypted portions, the unencrypted portion containing audio power level information. The audio power level information contained in the packets of each of the packet streams is then compared to select N packet streams with loudest audio. The N packet streams are then decrypted to obtain audio content, and the audio content of the N packet streams mixed to produce one or more output packet streams. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure.

A method for a client to receive streaming media over a network includes receiving data having the streaming media encoded therein and storing the received data in a de-jitter buffer thereby increasing a fullness of the de-jitter buffer. The method further includes, when the fullness reaches a fill level, initiating play out of the stored data from the de-jitter buffer, and changing the fill level while playing out the stored data.
