The invention relates to a method for thread distribution in a warping frame () which comprises a yarn package () for coiling a coil consisting of a plurality of threads (). According to said method, a warp for producing a thread crossing or thread separation is produced, while the yarn package rotates, at the start and/or the end of a coil in a circumferential area of the yarn package () using warp shedding combs () disposed in the circumferential area of the coil (). A partial element, especially a partial thread () or an auxiliary crossing rod () is introduced into the open warp () while the yarn package rotates.
