A hydrostatic axial piston machine () with a cylinder barrel () having at least one piston bore () in which is located a power unit piston () supported on a cam disk (). A control surface () is stationary relative to the housing and is on a control base (), against which control surface the cylinder barrel () is in contact. In the control base () there are a kidney-shaped inlet connection () and a kidney-shaped outlet connection (). The sealing web surface on the control surfaceon the control base () in the vicinity of the inlet connection () is reduced, so that in operation as a motor, when there is a pressurization of the inlet connection (), a reduction of the hydrostatic relief force is achieved. In operation as a motor, a residual application of the cylinder barrel () against the control surface () from a hold-down force of a hold-down spring () that is in an operative connection with the cylinder barrel () and/or pressing cylinder compression forces is preserved. In addition or alternatively, the terminal areas of the kidney-shaped inlet connection () of the control base () have a transitional contour (K) in the shape of a flattened arc in the radially outer area.

Hydrostatic axial piston machine

A hydrostatic drive has a hydrostatic pump () driven by a drive motor () and connected in a closed circuit with a hydrostatic motor (). The closed circuit is formed by a first hydraulic connection () and a second hydraulic connection (). Each of the hydraulic connections () can form the high-pressure side or the low-pressure side of the closed circuit. A high pressure accumulator device () can be connected with the respective high-pressure side hydraulic connection () and, simultaneously, the respective low-pressure side hydraulic connection () can be connected with a hydraulic balancing device (). A valve device () is provided for this simultaneous connection. The valve device () is a hydraulically controlled shuttle valve device () connected to the two hydraulic connections (), the high pressure accumulator device () and the hydraulic balancing device (). The shuttle valve device () has a high pressure accumulator path () and a hydraulic balancing path (), and is in communication with the two hydraulic connections () of the closed circuit.

Hydrostatic drive with energy storage

A hydrostatic drive system of a mobile machine includes a hydraulic work system and a hydraulic work pump that is driven by an internal combustion engine and, when operated as a pump, takes in hydraulic fluid with a suction side from a tank and, with a delivery side, delivers into a delivery line that leads to the hydraulic work system. A bypass valve is provided with which, when the hydraulic work pump is operated as a motor to start the shut-off internal combustion engine, the volume flow delivered by the hydraulic work pump operated as a motor to the delivery side is diverted to the tank. The bypass valve, in the motor operation to start the shut-off internal combustion engine, is actuated into an open position that connects the delivery side of the hydraulic work pump with the tank.

Hydrostatic drive system

A hydrostatic drive system () has a hydrostatic pump () driven by a drive motor () and connected in a closed circuit with a hydrostatic motor (). The hydrostatic motor () drives a consumer () and the closed circuit is formed by a first hydraulic connection () and a second hydraulic connection (). A hydrostatic accumulator () can be connected with at least one of the two hydraulic connections (). A hydrostatic drive unit is located in an accumulator flow path () between one of the two hydraulic connections () and the hydrostatic accumulator () and an additional hydrostatic drive unit is located in a tank flow path () between the other of the two hydraulic connections () and a tank (). The hydrostatic drive unit and the additional hydrostatic drive unit are a hydrostatic dual-flow double drive unit () provided in the accumulator flow path () and in the tank flow path ().

Hydrostatic drive system in a closed circuit

A hydrostatic drive system () with a hydrostatic pump () driven by a drive motor () and connected in a closed circuit with a hydrostatic motor (). The hydrostatic motor () is connected with a consumer (). The closed circuit is formed by a first hydraulic connection () and a second hydraulic connection (). A pressure accumulator device () can be connected with the two hydraulic connections () for the storage of energy and the output of energy. The pressure accumulator device () is a double piston accumulator () having a high-pressure-side pressure chamber () and a low-pressure-side pressure chamber (). The high-pressure-side pressure chamber () can be connected with one of the two hydraulic connections () of the closed circuit and simultaneously the low-pressure-side pressure chamber () can be connected with the respective other hydraulic connection () of the closed circuit.

A drive train () includes an internal combustion engine () and working hydraulics () having at least one hydraulic pump (). When operated as a pump, the hydraulic pump () sucks hydraulic fluid from a tank () and delivers into a delivery line () that leads to the working hydraulics (). When operated as a motor, the hydraulic pump () is supplied with hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic accumulator (). The drive train () has a charge pump () to supply a charging circuit (). The charge pump (), when operated as a pump, sucks hydraulic fluid out of the tank () and delivers into a charge pressure line () that leads to a charging circuit (), and the charge pump () when operated as a motor is supplied with hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic accumulator ().

Drive train of a vehicle

A hydrostatic hybrid drive device (H) includes only one hydrostatic displacement machine () operated in an open circuit. A delivery line () leads to a high pressure accumulator device (). A shutoff valve () controls flow to the high pressure accumulator device (). A branch line () is connected with a low pressure accumulator device (). A shutoff valve () in the intake line () shuts off flow to the low pressure accumulator device (). A discharge line () is connected between the intake side (S) of the displacement machine () and the shutoff valve (). A valve device () controls the discharge line () and the branch line ().

Hydrostatic hybrid drive device for a hybrid drive train

A variable displacement hydrostatic power unit () is in a drive connection with an internal combustion engine (). When operated as a pump, the power unit () delivers hydraulic fluid to at least one consumer (V). When operated as a motor, the power unit () is a hydraulic starter for the internal combustion engine () and is supplied with hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic accumulator (). The displacement volume of the power unit () is set by a displacement volume control device () actuated by a positioning device (). The displacement volume control device () is displaced into a position with maximum displacement volume by a corresponding actuation of the positioning device () chronologically prior to the shutoff of the internal combustion engine (). A securing device () holds the displacement volume control device () in the maximum displacement volume position when the internal combustion engine () is shut off.

Hydrostatic power unit as hydraulic starter of an internal combustion engine

A hydrostatic power unit () comprises a variable displacement machine with a continuously variable displacement volume and is operated as a pump and motor and is in a drive connection with an internal combustion engine (). When operated as a pump, the power unit sucks hydraulic fluid out of a tank () and delivers into a delivery side (P), and, when operated as a motor, functions as a hydraulic starter to start the internal combustion engine (). When operated as a motor, the power unit is supplied with hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic accumulator (). The displacement volume of the power unit () is set by a displacement volume control device () actuated by a positioning piston device () supplied with hydraulic fluid from a charging pressure circuit (). The power unit () includes a supplemental positioning piston device () in an operative connection with the displacement volume control device () and which is actuated directly by the pressure present in the hydraulic accumulator (). By means of a connection of the supplemental positioning piston device () with the hydraulic accumulator, the power unit () can be adjusted to increase the displacement volume to start the internal combustion engine ().

Hydrostatic power unit

A hydrostatic positive displacement machine () with a variable displacement volume includes a cradle () pivoted by a hydraulic positioning device () having a positioning piston device (). A position-controlled control valve () generates a control pressure and includes axially displaceable and locked setting valve means () and the rotatable feedback valve means (). Control cross sections are exposed by an axial displacement of the setting valve means () relative to the feedback valve means () and are closed by rotational movement of the feedback valve means () relative to the setting valve means ().

Hydrostatic positive displacement machine

A drive train () has an internal combustion engine (), a traction drive (), and working hydraulics () having at least one hydraulic pump (). A connecting line () leads to a hydraulic accumulator () and is connected to a delivery line () of the hydraulic pump () that leads to the working hydraulics (). A shutoff valve () is located in the connecting line (). The shutoff valve () is a check valve () that opens automatically and as a function of the pressure to allow a flow to the hydraulic accumulator (). A pressure relief valve () is operatively associated with the connecting line () between the shutoff valve () and the hydraulic accumulator ().

A variable displacement hydrostatic power unit () is connected with an internal combustion engine (). The power unit () operates as a pump to deliver hydraulic fluid to at least one consumer (V) and operates as a motor as a hydraulic starter for the internal combustion engine (). Hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic accumulator () is supplied to the power unit () operated as a motor. The power unit () includes a spring device () which, when the internal combustion engine () is shut off, actuates a displacement volume control device () into a position with the maximum displacement volume. When the power unit () is actuated with hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic accumulator (), the internal combustion engine () is immediately started by the power unit () without the need for an immediately preceding adjustment of the displacement volume control device () of the power unit ().

Hydrostatic power unit to start an internal combustion engine

A power split transmission (LG) of vehicle a traction drive (F) includes a continuously variable transmission (G) and a summing transmission (SG). The continuously variable transmission (G) has a primary unit (P) and a secondary unit (S) driven by the primary unit (P). The primary unit (P) has a driveshaft (TW) connected, directly and without the interposition of a clutch device, with the sun gear (SR) of the summing transmission (SG). The secondary unit (S) has a driveshaft (TW) connected, without the interposition of a clutch device, with a ring gear (HR) or a planetary carrier (PT) of the summing transmission (SG). The planetary carrier (PT) or the ring gear (HR) of the summing transmission (SG) form an output element of the summing transmission (SG), which is in a driving connection with the wheel drive.

A hydrostatic starter device () for an internal combustion engine () having a hydrostatic power unit () connected with the output shaft () of the internal combustion engine () is driven with hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic fluid accumulator (). The hydrostatic starter device () has an electrohydraulic charging device () to charge the hydraulic fluid accumulator () with hydraulic fluid and the hydrostatic power unit () is in a drive connection by a clutch device () with the internal combustion engine (). The hydrostatic power unit () can be connected in a drive connection with the internal combustion engine () by the clutch device ().

Hydrostatic starter device of an internal combustion engine

A drive train of a vehicle has a drive motor and a traction drive driven by the drive motor. A hydraulic work system has at least one hydraulic pump driven by the drive motor. To deliver torque into the drive train and/or to absorb torque from the drive train, the drive train is provided with an additional hydraulic machine which can be placed in communication with a hydraulic pressure accumulator and/or a tank and can be operated as a pump and a motor in the same direction of rotation. The hydraulic machine has an inlet connection and an outlet connection and a switching valve device is provided to control the connection of the inlet connection and the outlet connection with the pressure accumulator or the tank.
