Disclosed herein are electric submersible pump assemblies and methods for pumping wellbore fluid that may each include an electric submersible pump assembly which may include: a shroud that may include: a first shroud aperture; and a second shroud aperture; a first pump disposed in the shroud, wherein the first pump may be capable of pumping wellbore fluid that has flowed through the first shroud aperture; and a second pump disposed in the shroud, wherein the second pump may be capable of pumping out of the second aperture wellbore fluid that has flowed through the first shroud aperture.

Disclosed herein are downhole valve assemblies, electric submersible pumps, and methods for recirculating fluid which may each include a downhole valve assembly which may include: a housing that may include: an axially disposed cylindrical wall; an axially disposed borehole surrounded by the cylindrical wall; and a housing aperture extending radially through the cylindrical wall to the borehole; a recirculation aperture having a central axis that intersects with the central axis of the housing aperture; a valve coupled to the cylindrical wall, in which the valve may include: a first valve end disposed in the housing aperture; and a second valve end disposed in the borehole; and a plug coupled to the cylindrical wall and having an inner end disposed in the housing aperture.

Downhole valve assemblies and methods of recirculating fluid using valve assemblies

Disclosed herein are downhole generator assemblies and methods for generating electricity that may each include a downhole generator assembly which may include: an upper perforation capable of receiving reservoir fluid therethrough; and a lower perforation capable of receiving reservoir fluid therethrough; an annular barrier disposed in the interior of the first conduit below the upper perforation and above the lower perforation and capable of inhibiting reservoir fluid from flowing past the annular barrier; a second conduit in the wellbore, the second conduit having an interior and an upper port; a housing coupled to the second conduit, the housing having an interior and an lower port; an impeller disposed in the housing, wherein the impeller may be capable of being rotated by moving fluid flowing in the interior of the housing; and a generator disposed outside the housing, the generator comprising a rotor coupled to the impeller.
