A writing utensil container formed from a single plastic mold, including a container front panel, a front bottom component, a container back panel, a back bottom component, and a container lid component. A bottom integral hinge component may pivotally couple the back bottom component and the front bottom component, allowing the container front and back panels to pivot toward and away from each other. A lid integral hinge component may pivotally couple to the container back panel with the container lid component for opening and closing thereof. The container front and back panels may have coupling mechanisms that selectively engage with each other to prevent pivoting about the bottom integral hinge component to retain crayon boxes between the container front and back panels. A front closure feature of the front panel may selectively engage with a lid closure feature for selectively retaining the container lid component in a closed position.

The present invention is directed towards an apparatus, a system and a method for creating a pixel canvas artwork. A pixel canvas art apparatus may contain a receiving layer that includes multiple segmented components, each of which may be enclosed by a fluid-resistant boundary. One or more water-based markings may be absorbed by the receiving layer at multiple segmented components and may be prevented from transferring throughout the receiving layer by the fluid-resistance boundaries. The one or more water-based markings may be absorbed at multiple segmented components in a manner that creates a pixel canvas artwork. Both a system for producing a pixel canvas artwork and a method for creating a pixel canvas artwork may include components similar to the pixel canvas art apparatus that may be used to create a pixel canvas artwork.

A marking system comprises a substrate having a surface coated with a color-triggering developer and a deactivating ink composition; and a marking composition comprising at least one color precursor. At least one 'non-color developing portion' of the surface is coated with both the color-triggering developer and the deactivating ink composition, and at least one 'color-developing portion' of the surface is coated with the color-triggering developer and is not coated with the deactivating ink composition. Color development occurs at the color-developing portion(s) and does not occur at the non-color developing portion(s) upon application of the marking composition to the surface of the substrate.

Marking system

A roller ball pen for use with metallic inks, and a method for assembling the roller ball pen for use with metallic inks, is described herein. The pen body includes a housing that encloses a reservoir, a collet, a feed rod, and a tip. The feed rod transfers ink from the reservoir to a roller ball tip at a tapered end of the pen housing. In embodiments, the feed rod is embedded at a threshold distance inside the reservoir to provide an increased surface area for transfer of a metallic ink suspension. In further embodiments, a method of assembling the roller ball pen includes saturation of the reservoir with a metallic ink based on inserting a particular injection needle at a particular depth inside the reservoir.

An eraser composition comprising 22-41 wt % styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene block copolymer, 5-15 wt % ethylene/propylene copolymer, 30-50 wt % calcium carbonate, 10-25 wt % factice; and 0.1-7 wt % pumice is provided. The eraser composition optionally contains up to 1 wt % titanium dioxide. The eraser composition preferably has a hardness of from 70 to 85 Shore A.
