The present invention relates to a nail polish composition comprising: at least one high gloss film forming agent chosen from a styrene maleic anhydride copolymer; at least one co-film forming agent chosen from an epoxy resin; at least one reactive agent chosen from a combination of a polyalkyleneamine and a polyurethane, at least one polyalkyleneamine, and at least one alkoxysilane comprising at least one solubilizing functional group; at least one solvent chosen from at least one volatile solvent and water; optionally, at least one plasticizer; and optionally, at least one colorant, wherein the composition does not require use of nitrocellulose and can be used to makeup or protect nails.

Nitrocellulose-free nail polish compositions

The present invention relates to a nail polish composition, comprising at least one high gloss film forming agent chosen from an esterified styrene maleic anhydride copolymer, a non-esterified styrene maleic anhydride copolymer and mixtures thereof, at least one co-film forming agent chosen from an epoxy resin, optionally, at least one plasticizer, at least one solvent, and optionally, at least one colorant, wherein the composition does not require use of nitrocellulose and can be used to makeup or protect nails. Such compositions impart high gloss, good adhesion and long wear properties.

The present invention is directed to a non-sticky, hydrating and moisturizing aqueous lip gloss having: (a) at least one alkyl ethoxylated polymer wax; (b) at least one oil soluble polar modified polymer; (c) water; (d) at least one non volatile oil capable of solubilizing the polar modified polymer; and (e) optionally, at least one colorant, and wherein the composition does not require silicone fluids therein.

Non-sticky, hydrating and moisturizing aqueous lip gloss composition

An emulsion lip composition, in solid or stick form, comprising: (a) a reaction product of (i) at least one polyamine with (ii) an oil-soluble polar modified polymer comprising at least one C2-C20 monomer; (b) water; (c) at least one non-volatile solvent; and (d) at least one colorant; and a method of using thereof.
