Described herein are compounds of Formula I, wherein R, R, and Rare defined herein, their use as branched-chain alpha keto acid dehydrogenase kinase inhibitors, pharmaceutical compositions containing such inhibitors and the use of such inhibitors to treat, for example, diabetes, NASH and heart failure.

The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds of Formula I and to use of the compounds in the treatment of diseases associated with LRRK2, such as neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson's disease or Alzheimer's disease, cancer, Crohn's disease or leprosy.
