The present disclosure relates to a tyre comprising a carcass structure, a tread band, a pair of sidewalls and at least one colored decorative element having a thickness equal to or greater than 200 μm applied by co-vulcanization on at least one side of the pair of sidewalls, wherein the pair of sidewalls comprises an elastomeric composition comprising (i) at least one diene elastomeric polymer, and (ii) an ozone protection system, and the at least one colored decorative element is made with a cross-linkable elastomeric composition comprising (i) 100 phr of elastomeric polymer comprising 30 phr to 70 phr of natural and/or synthetic isoprene rubber, and 30 phr to 70 phr of a rubber chosen from butyl rubber, halobutyl rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, and mixtures thereof, and (ii) 5 phr to 120 phr of at least one reinforcement filler.

Tyre for vehicle wheels

The present disclosure relates to a tyre () for vehicle wheels comprising at least one carcass structure (), a tread band () applied in a position radially external to said carcass structure, and a pair of sidewalls () applied laterally on the opposite sides with respect to said carcass structure, where on at least one sidewall of said pair of sidewalls (), a label () is applied comprising a protective layer (), an adhesive layer (), and possibly one or more ink layers () interposed between said protective layer () and said adhesive layer (), where said adhesive layer () adheres the label () to the surface of said sidewall, where said protective layer () comprises polyester-based and/or polyether-based cross-linked aliphatic polyurethanes exhibiting dynamic elastic modulus values E', measured at 25° C., static tensile deformation 1%, dynamic deformation ±0.1%, and frequency 1 Hz, equal to or higher than about 5 MPa, and a residual deformation measured at 25° C. after 4 cycles of deformation from 0% to 12%, equal to or lower than about 1%.

The present invention relates to a tyre for vehicle wheels comprising at least one external structural element comprising at least one external structural element comprising a crosslinked elastomeric material obtained by crosslinking a crosslinkable elastomeric composition comprising (i) at least one diene elastomeric polymer, and (ii) a system for protection against ozone substantially free of polymeric static protective agents which essentially consists of at least one phenolic antioxidant in an amount substantially equal to or higher than 3 phr.

The present invention relates to a vulcanizable elastomeric composition comprising a secondary accelerator that may be used in combination with sulphenamide alone, completely avoiding the use of a guanidine. Moreover, said accelerator promotes dispersion of the silica in the compound and migrates with difficulty in the elastomeric composition itself. The invention also relates to the use of a vulcanization accelerator for said elastomeric composition, to the associated vulcanization process and to a tyre comprising same.

Elastomeric composition and vulcanization accelerator used therein

The present invention relates to new antioxidant and antiozonant elastomeric compositions for tyres, characterized by reduced volatility of the active compounds, improved processability and environmental sustainability, increased anti-degradation efficacy and improved surface appearance. In particular, the elastomeric compositions of the inventions comprise Salts formed by acids AC of formula (I) and amines AM of formula (II) The elastomeric compositions of the inventions are particularly suitable for the manufacture of tyre components such as sidewalls, treads and anti-abrasive layer, components that in the tyre are particularly subject to wear due to the combination of the degrading action of ozone and mechanical stresses.

Salts with anti-degradation activity, elastomeric compositions for tires and tires comprising the same

Tires for vehicle wheels having reduced environmental impact and the components thereof, in particular reinforcing structural elements such as carcass structures, belt structures, flippers and chafers, include elongated reinforcing elements treated with resorcinol and formaldehyde-free cross-linkable adhesive compositions. The adhesive compositions include at least a) a rubber latex, at least b) an epoxide and at least c) a polyamine with molecular weight higher than 190 Daltons, including at least two amino groups selected from primary &#x2014;NH2 and secondary &#x2014;NH&#x2014; amino groups. In the structural element, these compositions confer an adhesion between cords and compounds that is comparable to, if not better than, the traditional RFL system in use in this sector. Furthermore, by suitably modifying the compound compositions in the reinforced structural elements and, possibly, also in the other elastomeric components of the tire, it is possible to manufacture tires while avoiding the use of toxic chemicals, such, as resorcinol and formaldehyde.

A tire for vehicle wheels, includes at least one structural element obtained by crosslinking a crosslinkable elastomeric composition including at least one vulcanized rubber in a subdivided form surface treated with at least one oxidizing agent; at least one diene elastomeric polymer, and at least one sulfur-based vulcanizing agent. A surface treatment process of vulcanized rubber and crosslinkable elastomeric composition is obtained with the vulcanized rubber in a subdivided form surface treated with at least one oxidizing agent.

Tire for vehicle wheels comprising crosslinked elastomeric composition

Optical fiber has a glass portion and at least one coating of crosslinked polymer material surrounding the glass portion, the coating being obtained by crosslinking a composition of (a) at least one radically crosslinkable oligomer containing at least two reactive functional groups and having a number average molecular weight lower than about 1,000, preferably between about 400 and about 900; (b) at least one cationically crosslinkable compound containing at least one reactive functional group; (c) at least one free radical photoinitiator; and (d) at least one cationic photoinitiator. Preferably, the coating is a secondary coating or, in the case of a ribbon of optical fibers, it is a common polymer coating known as a 'common coating'.

Optical fiber with polymeric coating crosslinked in the presence of both radical and cationic photoinitiators

An optical fiber having at least one epoxidized polyolefin based polymer coating. The coating is formed from a crosslinkable composition having (a) at least one epoxidized polydiene oligomer having a first and a second end, the oligomer having at least one hydrocarbon chain that is substantially free of ethylenic double bonds, at least one epoxide group at the first end and at least one reactive functional group at the second end; (b) at least one hydrogenated polydiene oligomer having at least one reactive functional group capable of reacting with the epoxide groups; and (c) at least one photo-initiator. Preferably, the coating is a primary coating coated with a secondary coating.
