A fingernail treatment arrangement, especially a nail polish removal arrangement, includes a vessel which is closable by a lid and which includes a circumferential wall and a bottom wall which together bound an internal chamber. A porous body is so held in the internal chamber as to be inwardly spaced from the circumferential wall and to form a gap therewith. The porous body has a central through bore which extends through the porous body all the way to the bottom wall. The bottom wall has a downward slope in the radially outward direction to form a moat into which the porous body dips. The porous body is held in the aforementioned position either by a resilient spring clip which engages the same and braces itself against a neck portion of the vessel, or by ultrasonically or thermally welded formations connecting the porous body to the bottom wall, or in both ways. A treating liquid, especially a nail polish removing liquid, is poured into the internal chamber to flow into the gap and/or into the fingerhole and to permeate the porous body through the top and through the outer and/or inner circumferential surfaces thereof from the gap and/or from the finger hole. Rubbing a fingernail in the finger hole against the liquid-soaked porous body will dissolve and rub off the nail polish from the fingernail.

Fingernail treatment arrangement

A display package for a container including a receptacle having an open end and a cap mounted on the open end and closing the same, particularly for a container containing a cosmetic substance, includes a backing card, a first mounting part secured to the backing part and embracing that end of the receptacle which is remote from the cap in a cup-like fashion to prevent movement of the container relative to the backing card in one axial direction as well as radially, and a second mounting part which embraces the container at the elevation of the cap and has a locking surface which engages a retaining surface of the cap that is situated a different distance from the axis of the container than the remainder of the periphery of the cap. The retaining surface may be flat and form a recessed formation in the cap, in which case the locking surface interferes with turning of the cap relative to the receptacle about the central axis of the container. However, the retaining surface may also be provided on an outwardly projecting circumferentially extending collar of the cap, in which event the locking surface interferes with movement of the cap relative to the receptacle in the other axial direction of the container. The locking surface may terminate in a knife edge at its region close to the cap to obtain deformation of the second mounting part or of the cap during attempted removal of the cap from the receptacle while mounted on the backing card. The mounting parts are interconnected by lateral parts.

Container display package

A roll-on dispenser bottle for dispensing cosmetics, deodorants, and the like, in which a plastic ball is mounted in the mouth of a glass bottle and a separate resilient ball retainer is provided which extends from the neck of the bottle. A cap also is provided which contains an insert having a protuberance and a shoulder or shelf which act to constrict the retainer on the ball and press the ball into a seat in the mouth of the bottle when the cap is firmly in place on the neck of the bottle, so as to provide positive closure when the bottle is not in use.
