A paint recovery and cleaning trolley is provided for an apparatus for applying paint provided with a belt for conveying pieces to be painted. The conveyor belt has an upper outward section and a lower return section. The trolley includes a paint recovery subunit and a cleaning subunit. Each subunit includes a reverse roller in contact with the lower return section of the conveyor belt, a doctor blade tangentially placed with respect to the reverse roller for all its length, and a doctor blade scraping the lower return section of the conveyor belt. In each subunit the respective reverse roller, doctor blades and return section of the conveyor belt form a closed chamber having the shape of a triangular prism, of which the components represent the rectangular faces and that contains a solvent which drips from the triangular faces into a respective collecting hopper. Three positions of the trolley are provided including two inserted positions in which the trolley is totally inserted under the conveyor belt and may be inactive or in operation and a lateral extracted position in which the trolley is totally extracted from the apparatus for applying paint.

Apparatus and method for cleaning and recovering paint in painting plants

A vertical oven for panels includes trays configured to support mainly flat panels arranged in a multiple of two stacks circulating in opposed directions, such as the first stack moving in an ascending direction and the second stack in a descending direction. The trays are arranged at a distance from each other and the movement of the trays is such that at least one every other tray is withdrawn from the circulation, doubling the distance between the trays.

A system for recovering paint and cleaning in a painting machine having a conveying band for conveying panels to be painted includes a paint recovery unit for paint recovery having a reverse roller in contact with the conveying band, recovering paint sprayed on the conveying band, and a doctor blade scraping the reverse roller to recover paint for successive channelling to a tank; a cleaning unit having a cleaning roller, a drying blade, and an idle roller; a paint recovery unit provided as an independent unit; and a cleaning unit for the conveying band provided as an independent unit.

Apparatus and method for cleaning and for recovering paint in painting machines

Suitable corrugated filter grids (') are mounted on the suction intakes (&#x2032;) and are positioned with a downward inclination towards the conveyor () of the machine, their lower ends allowing drops to fall on to this conveyor. The suction intakes contain further removable filters (&#x2032;) and the lower ends of the said intakes are connected to a horizontal collector () which is positioned transversely under the conveyor of the machine and whose lower walls are inclined and converge towards a lower area in which is provided a tank () which collects all the paint precipitated by the filters located in the suction intakes and which is attached to the inner walls of the system by contact and by impact. An aperture () is provided in the intermediate part of one side of the said collector and is connected to a horizontal duct () of suitable section, which extends under the supply or discharge conveyor of the spraying machine and which has an extension at ninety degrees departing from the outline in plan view of this conveyor and connected to an ascending duct () connected by a bend to the suction intake of a centrifugal fan () whose outlet discharges into the atmosphere and which has a drainage duct () fitted on the lower part of its casing. The extension of this final part of the suction circuit also forms a trap for the recovery of further drops of paint carried by the air, and this circuit also has lower walls inclined downwards towards the said bottom tank () which collects the recovered paint by gravity.

Self-cleaning system for dry recovery of processing mists in automatic machines for spraying paints

Trays are provided with identical vertical spacers which enable the trays to be stacked on top of each other in a centered way, with a suitable or appropriate spacing between them, and enable the various adjacent stacks of trays to be raised and lowered in steps, by an elevating and lowering system which acts only on the bottom tray of each stack. The sides of the stacks of trays of the kiln are thus free and can be engaged by conveyors for the translation of the trays between the stacks, both in a normal operating cycle and in a short operating cycle. However, the lower translation conveyors, which transfer the trays from the stack with an unloading station to that with a loading station, are positioned in the conventional way, i.e., under the stacks of trays and transversely with respect to the trays.

Vertical kiln

The vessel or vessels ( ) in contact with the solvent used for cleaning the conveyor (T) are designed and arranged in such a way that they are enclosed, and the portion of conveyor belt which is wetted with solvent is also isolated by suitable means from contact with the external environment containing the ventilation air of the painting chamber. In a preferred solution, where rotating scraping cylinders ( ) are used, the solvent vessel ( ) is placed in such a way that it is enclosed by the two successive cleaning cylinders, by the portion of conveyor belt which runs between these cylinders, and by its lateral walls which are as close as possible to the said cylinders and to the said portion of the conveyor belt. At the end of each painting cycle, clean solvent is made to flow into the solvent vessel and the cleaning cylinders and the conveyor belt of the painting machine are temporarily kept active so that they clean themselves.
