The present invention relates to a control mechanism for the displacement of at least one moving contact of a low-voltage circuit-breaking device. The control mechanism comprises elastic means operatively connectable to the moving contact, at least a first element of which is operatively connected to a second element by means of pin-shaped connection means. The first and second elements each comprise a pair of facing lateral portions that are connected by a transverse portion. The pin-shaped connection means comprise a pair of pin-shaped ends, each of which emerges from one side of a lateral portion of the first element. Said pin-shaped means also comprise a pair of seats, each of which is defined on a lateral portion of the second element. Each pin-shaped end is inserted in a corresponding seat so as to configure an axis of mutual rotation between the first and the second elements. The elastic means are arranged so as to exert a retaining force on the pin-shaped ends sufficient to keep them coupled to the corresponding seats in which they are inserted.

The present invention relates to a moving element for a low voltage switching device and to a switching device comprising this moving element. The moving element according to the invention comprises for each pole a housing unit suitable to receive an elastic element which interacts with an electrical contact. This latter comprises a first contact portion susceptible to contact a further electrical contact and a second portion connectable to a conductive element of the switching device. The electrical contact comprises a pin shaped portion positioned rotating in a seat defined on the housing unit so as to configure a mutual rotation axis of the electrical contact with respect to the housing unit.

A moving element for a low voltage switching device is provided. The moving element comprises a shaped body provided for each pole, a housing unit housing at least one electrical contact, and an actuating connecting rod provided with a pair of lateral portions connected by a transverse portion. The actuating connecting rod is connected to the shaped body through pin connection means comprising a first and a second pin shaped portion, emerging from one side of a corresponding lateral portion. The shaped body comprises a pair of seats, each to house a corresponding pin shaped portion so as to define a rotation axis for the connecting rod with respect to the shaped body. The first lateral portion and the second lateral portion of the connecting rod respectively comprise a first and a second mating surface.

Embodiments of an automatic single- or multi-pole circuit breaker for use in low-voltage applications are disclosed. The circuit breaker includes at least a first fixed contact this is coupled/uncoupled with a first moving contact. The moving contact is operatively connected to an operating mechanism that enables its displacement. The circuit breaker includes a kinematic tripping device driven by means of a first separating movement of the moving contact away from the fixed contact. The kinematic tripping device includes an operative member capable of tripping the operating mechanism, which in turn takes effect on the moving contact, thus determining a second rapid separating movement until the circuit breaker tripped position is reached.

The present invention relates to an automatic switch () to be used preferably in low-voltage systems. The automatic switch () comprises an outer casing () containing for each pole at least one fixed contact () and at least one mobile contact () housed in a corresponding seat () provided on a mobile element () operatively connected to a control mechanism () to enable its movement. The automatic switch () according to the invention comprises means for the support of the mobile element (), which are constrained to a structural part () of the control mechanism (). Said supporting means support the mobile element () through hinge connection means to provide a center of rotation for the mobile element itself.

The switch cabinet (50) exhibits a housing, which is provided with a door and which includes a box-shaped switch (1). The switch (1) can be brought by a pushing movement inside the switch cabinet (50) into a connected position or into a disconnected position, and exhibits a fixed part (2) mounted in the switch cabinet housing, and a movable housing body (3) which interacts with the fixed part (2) and can be removed from the housing. Furthermore, the switch (1) contains a disconnecting device for achieving the disconnected position or the connected position, and a switching lever (4) guided to the outside through a first opening (6) provided in the door (7). Provided in the door (7) of the switch cabinet housing is a second opening (11) which serves to guide through a tool (8) which facilitates the operation of the disconnecting device with the door (7) closed. This switch cabinet fulfills particularly strict safety requirements.
