A prosthesis liner provided for fitting over a stump of a limb. The prosthesis liner includes a main body having an inner face directed towards the skin of the stump, and an outer face directed away from the stump. The prosthesis liner also includes a proximal access opening and a side wall, which extends from the access opening as far as a closed distal end portion of the liner. At least one sealing lip is arranged on the outer face of the main body and protrudes radially outwards from the main body.

The invention relates to a passive orthopedic aid in the form of a foot prosthesis or foot orthosis, with a first part which is connected to a second part in a rotatable manner via a swivel joint, with a sensor arrangement for measuring parameters that provide indications of instantaneous operation requirements of the aid, with a control means which is connected to the control arrangement and is used to determine operation requirements and to generate corresponding control signals, with a controllable hydraulic damping arrangement with which a movement resistance acting on the rotation movement between the first part and the second part can be modified, and with a control means which converts the control signals of the processor arrangement and is used to control the damping arrangement. The foot prosthesis is characterized in that the damping arrangement is a dual-action hydraulic cylinder with two hydraulic chambers separated from each other by a piston, and in that the hydraulic chambers are connected via two connection lines which permit a flow of the hydraulic fluid only in mutually opposite directions and whose flow resistances can be adjusted by the control separately and via their own adjustment means each, in that the processor arrangement is configured to determine a current neutral point position from the measured parameters of the sensor arrangement, and in that the control signals for the flow resistances in the two connection lines are generated with respect to the neutral point position.

Passive orthopedic aid in the form of a foot prosthesis or foot orthosis

The invention relates to a prosthesis with a prosthesis socket which has an inner face and is designed to be arranged on an amputation stump after a liner has been pulled over the latter, such that the inner face is directed toward the liner and a volume is enclosed between the inner face and the liner, and with a pump for generating an underpressure in the volume when the prosthesis socket is arranged on the amputation stump, characterized in that the pump is a peristaltic pump ().

Prosthesis

An artificial foot has a connecting part for a lower leg part, and a base foot part rotatably connected to the connecting part via an ankle joint. The base foot part extends rearwards of the ankle joint in a heel section and forwards of the ankle joint in a midfoot section. A forefoot part is rotatably connected to the midfoot section. In order to allow an automatic adaptation of the foot to varying heel heights while ensuring a good stability, an articulated connection transmits the angular position of the connecting part in relation to the base foot part in a proportional manner to the angular position of the forefoot part in relation to the base foot part.

Artificial foot

The invention relates to an orthopedic appliance which is designed to support the weight of a patient and comprises a power supply device for an electrical consumer. The aim of the invention is to be able to convert the kinetic energy introduced into the appliance into electrical energy. To this end, the power supply device comprises a stack () of piezoelectric ceramic elements, and the force of the weight is introduced into the stack () by means of a force transmission system.

A preferred field of application of the clamping freewheel consists in locking a linearly movable prosthetic part.

The invention relates to a resilient foot insert for an artificial foot, having at least one spring element that determines the spring rigidity of the artificial foot, and an adapting device for changing the spring rigidity of the spring element. In order to improve and simplify the adaptation of the foot insert to the respective use conditions, the invention provides that the adapting device be automatically actuated as a function of the respective loading to which the foot insert is subjected by the patient wearing the artificial foot.

The invention relates to a resilient foot insert for an artificial foot, having at least one leaf spring. In order to increase structural strength, the at least one leaf spring comprises a plurality of leaf spring elements which are coupled in parallel, are arranged next to one another and are connected to one another at their two end regions. Between these two end regions, there is a clearance distance or gap between an adjacent pair of the leaf spring elements. An adjustable pressure buffer in the gap adjusts the deformation characteristics of the at least one leaf spring.
