An apparatus is described for needling a non-woven material with a support ( ) which receives at least one needleboard ( ) and is drivable in a reciprocating fashion both in the needle-penetration direction ( ) as well as the direction of passage ( ) of the non-woven material and on which are coupled the connecting rods ( ) of two oppositely drivable eccentric drives ( ) for the drive in the needle-penetration direction ( ) and on which there acts at least one additional eccentric drive ( ). In order to provide advantageous constructional conditions it is proposed that the connecting rods ( ) of the two oppositely drivable eccentric drives ( ) extend inclined in opposite directions with respect to the needle-penetration direction ( ), that the additional eccentric drive ( ) revolves synchronously with one of the two other eccentric drives ( ), that the connecting rod ( ) of the additional eccentric drive ( ) which is also linked to the support ( ) forms with the connecting rod ( ) of the synchronously revolving eccentric drive ( ) a parallelogram of links for guiding the support ( ) and that the eccentric drives ( ) which are drivable in opposite directions are provided with a phase shift (&phgr;) or are adjustable with respect to the mutual angular position.

Apparatus for needling a non-woven material

An apparatus is described for needling a non-woven ( ) with at least one support ( ) for a needleboard ( ) held in a frame ( ) and with two parallel eccentric drives ( ) which are disposed between the frame ( ) and the needleboard support ( ) and are made of two parallel eccentric shafts ( and ) each for the needleboard drive in the needling direction on the one hand and in the direction of passage of the non-woven on the other hand. Apparatus for needling a non-woven

There is described a needle board ( ) for a device for needling a web, comprising a board body ( ) of a light metal alloy, in particular a magnesium-aluminum alloy, and a plastic coating ( ) cast onto the board body ( ) on the side of the board facing the needle tips. To create advantageous constructional conditions it is proposed that the board body ( ) preferably consisting of a cross-cut extruded section has undercut grooves ( ) at its edges on the side of the board covered by the plastic coating ( ), where the plastic coating ( ) cast thereon positively fills the undercut grooves ( ).

Needle board for a device for needling a web

The description relates to a facility for needling of fleece with at least one needle board driven to and fro in stitching direction, which can be additionally driven in pendulum fashion in fleece feed direction ( ) by means of an eccentric drive, which is provided with a connecting rod ( ) articulated to a rocker arm ( ) and a connecting pitman ( ) to the needle board effective on this connecting rod assembly. The description relates to a facility for needling of fleece with at least one needle board (,) that can be driven to and fro in stitching direction (,) by means of pushing rods (,) borne displaceable in one guide sleeve (,) each, and with an additional drive (,) reciprocating in fleece feed direction (,) and effective on the movably borne guide sleeves (,), which is equipped with two parallel eccentric shafts (,). To achieve simple constructional features it is suggested to bear the guide sleeves (,) via two brackets (,) on the eccentrics (,) of the two equidirectionally driven eccentric shafts (,), and to connect them non-rotatable with at least one of these brackets (,).

An apparatus which serves to needle a nonwoven web and comprises at least one needle beam for carrying at least one needle board, a rocker, which carries the needle beam and comprises at least two parallel arms, which are pivoted to a frame, and a slider-crank mechanism, which is coupled to the rocker or the needle beam. To permit an adjustment of the lift of the needle beam it is proposed that the slider-crank mechanism is adapted to be pivoted to the needle beam or the rocker at different distances from the pivotal axis of the rocker.
