A rotor for an electrical machine has a rotor body and permanent magnets arranged on the circumference of the rotor body, wherein those areas of the circumference of the rotor body which are covered by the permanent magnets have at least one recess and/or that side of the permanent magnets which faces the circumference of the rotor body has at least one recess. Each recess is configured as a slot which extends in parallel relationship to a circumference-proximal side of the permanent magnets. Removably insertable in the recesses are ferromagnetic bars to allow removal of the permanent magnets.

The invention relates to methods for manufacturing a rotor () for an electric machine (), having the following method steps: a) manufacturing a magnetic element () by bonding permanent magnets ('&#x2033;) by means of a first adhesive, each permanent magnet (&#x2032;&#x2033;) having a side with a magnetic North pole (N) and a side with a magnetic South pole (S), the permanent magnets (&#x2032;&#x2033;) being arranged during bonding such that the sides of the magnetic North poles (N) or the sides of the magnetic South poles (S) form a common underside (&#x2032;&#x2033;) of the magnetic elements (), the first adhesive having a hard consistency in the cured state; and b) bonding the underside of the magnetic element () to a yoke () by means of a second adhesive, the second adhesive being soft and elastic in the cured state. Furthermore, the invention relates to an associated rotor. The invention permits rational manufacture of a rotor having a permanent magnet for a machine, the permanent magnets being integrally fixed to the yoke of the rotor with high reliability.

Rotor and method for manufacturing a rotor of an electric machine

An electromagnetic drive apparatus for undertaking linear or circular movements as a flat coil disposed within a magnetic circuit, which may be formed by a iron core having one or more permanent magnets. The magnetic circuit includes at least one plate or coating of electrically conductive material which is spaced from the coil and coextensive with the area of movement of the coil within the magnetic circuit. The electrically conductive material promotes rapid change of the coil current due to induced eddy currents and thus contributes to a low response time, or alternatively to a high response speed, of the drive apparatus, particularly with the use of a pulsed drive signal.

Electromagnetic drive apparatus having a flat coil

A magnetic drive system for generating linear movements, such as for driving a printing element in a high speed printer, has a bar-shaped armature with a coil comovable attached thereto, the coil and armature combination being seated in a yoke for longitudinal movement relative thereto. The yoke and armature consist primarily of low magnetic retentive material and at least one permanent magnet is disposed in the magnetic curcuit formed by the yoke and armature such that a magnetic flux is produced in the armature parallel to the longitudinal axis thereof. The coil is connected to a voltage source for operation such that current flow through the coil generates a field in the longitudinal direction of the armature which reinforces the attractive force of the magnetic field at one end of the armature while simultaneously reducing the force at the opposite end to thereby move the armature and coil together. The length of the yoke in the longitudinal direction of the armature is greater than the portion of the armature consisting of low magnetic retentive material.
