A balloon control ring for a textile machine for limiting a circulating yarn balloon, wherein the balloon control ring comprising a metallic hollow cylinder with a wear-resistant surface, is characterised in that the hollow cylinder () is formed from a sheet metal strip, the hollow cylinder () is held by the end portions () of the sheet metal strip, and an edge strip () is folded round at the two edges of the hollow cylinder (), with the sheet metal thickness of the sheet metal strip being at most 0.6 mm.

Balloon control ring for a textile machine

A two-for-one twisting spindle comprising a pneumatically actuated threading device, a spindle bolt () that is rotatable about the vertical rotary shaft () thereof, and an injector () which extends into a thread guiding channel (). The injector () can be temporarily connected to a compressed air source (). The thread () is conveyed through the thread guiding channel () by means of an air flow during the threading process. The compressed air supply unit is provided with an annular chamber () which is mounted upstream of the injector () and is formed by a rigid annular flange () that extends around the spindle bolt () and is joined thereto in a fixed manner.
