A slip ring includes a dielectric carrier body having a circumferential lateral surface and radially oriented feed-through leads, a first conductive element, and a second conductive element. In a first section, the conductive elements extend in parallel at an axial offset on the lateral surface in the circumferential direction, and in a second section, they extend in the feed-through leads with a radial directional component. The first sections extend in the circumferential direction across a first angular dimension of less than 360&#xb0;, so that a discontinuity is present along the circumferential direction of the conductive elements in a second angular dimension. The feed-through leads are arranged such that the second angular dimension of the first conductive element is situated at an offset from the second angular dimension of the second conductive element in the circumferential direction, the first and the second conductive elements being electrically connected to each other.

Slip ring and slip ring unit having a slip ring

A resolver includes a first assembly having transmitter windings and a first winding of a first transformer. The resolver also includes a second assembly having receiver windings, a first winding of a second transformer, and a first winding of a third transformer. A third assembly of the resolver includes a second winding of the first transformer, a second winding of the second transformer, and a second winding of the third transformer. The three assemblies are rotatable relative to each other about an axis. The windings of the first transformer, the windings of the second transformer, the windings of the third transformer, the transmitter windings, and the receiver windings are arranged opposite each other in each case, separated by a radial gap.

Resolver

In a device for transmitting signals on two channels between two sub-assemblies rotatable relative to each other about an axis, a photodetector and a light source are connected via connecting lines to a receiver circuit and transmitter circuit. At least one of the connecting lines has a section extending with a radial directional component. The beam path of one channel extends with an axial directional component radially outside relative to the beam path of the optical signal of the other channel, past the section of the at least one connecting line.

Device for transmitting signals between two rotatable sub-assemblies

A slip-ring unit for transmitting an electric current includes a first component group and a second component group arranged in a manner allowing rotation relative to each other. The slip-ring unit has a first track and a second track, a brush and a slip ring contacting each other over different rotational positions along one of the tracks. The first component group has a first connection terminal and an electric circuit for monitoring conditions, while the second component group has a second connection terminal The electric current is transmittable from the first connection terminal to the second connection terminal over the first track, and an electric voltage is transmittable over the second track to the circuit. The slip-ring unit is configured such that the first track and the second track are connected electrically.

Slip-ring unit and method for monitoring the condition of a slip-ring unit

A slip-ring unit includes a first and a second group of components which are arranged in a manner allowing rotation relative to each other about an axis. The first group of components includes a slip-ring brush which is secured to a holder that is mounted between two components which are offset relative to each other in the direction of the axis. The second group of components includes at least one slip ring. The holder and at least one of the components each have an effective area by which a form-locking connection is produced between the holder and the at least one component. Forces having a directional component parallel to the axis are transmittable by the form-locking connection.

Slip-ring unit

In a slip-ring unit for electrically connecting two components that are rotatable relative to each other, one component is arranged as a first cable, which has a core and a shield. The slip-ring unit includes first, second and third brush elements as well as first, second and third slip bodies. The first slip body has an opening extending through it axially, through which a first cable extends for transmitting the voltage applied on the core. The second brush element is additionally disposed at a radial offset with respect to the third brush element.

A slip-ring brush includes a holder and a brush element that has three regions. The brush element is joined in the first region to the holder, and exhibits a cross-sectional geometry having a cross-sectional area in the second region, which is predetermined for the contacting with a slip ring. The brush element has the same cross-sectional area in the third region as in the second region. The brush element is additionally arranged such that its third region is disposed between the first region and the second region. The cross-sectional geometry of the brush element in the third region is shaped so that it deviates from the cross-sectional geometry of the second region, to reduce the effective spring stiffness of the brush element.

A method for manufacturing a slip-ring element having contact rings includes the following steps: machining and/or coating lateral sides of the contact rings; mounting the individual contact rings side-by-side, so that they touch each other at the end face; at least partially filling the inner space formed by the side-by-side-mounted contact rings with an adhesive agent, so that the side-by-side-mounted contact rings are cemented to each other after the adhesive agent has hardened; and complete removal of material from the contact rings in the region where they touch at the end face, so that a peripheral, electrically insulating recess is produced along a circumferential line.

Slip-ring element and method for its manufacture

In a method for producing a slip ring brush, the slip ring brush including a brush element and a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board has a first surface and a second surface and has at least one printed circuit trace as well as at least one bore which penetrates the printed circuit board from the first surface to the second surface. An electrical contact between the brush element and the printed circuit trace is produced by soldering. The brush element is soldered such that solder penetrates from the second surface of the printed circuit board through the bore of the printed circuit board all the way to the brush element at the first surface.
