A nasal delivery device for a powder, having a reservoir, a delivery head and an air discharge system generating a flow of compressed air. The air discharge system has an air chamber, formed by a hollow axial cylinder, and a piston that sealingly slides in the air chamber to compress the air. The hollow axial cylinder has a radial shoulder connecting a first cylinder portion and a second cylinder portion. Before actuation, the piston is at the first cylinder portions and, during actuation, the piston sealingly cooperates with the second cylinder portion. The radial shoulder defines a profile that the piston overcomes at start of actuation. The piston has an upper lip and a lower lip, a skirt around the hollow axial cylinder with a lower flange projecting radially inward. The skirt has a profile radially projecting towards the inside, cooperating before actuation with the lower lip of the piston.

Nasal powder delivery device

An inhalation-synchronized fluid dispenser device having a body with a mouthpiece, a fluid reservoir containing a fluid and a propellant gas mounted to slide axially in the body, a metering valve including a valve member assembled on the reservoir, an actuator element movable and/or deformable between a non-actuation position in which the metering valve cannot be actuated, and an actuation position in which the metering valve can be actuated; and an inhalation-controlled trigger system including an inhalation-sensitive member deformable and/or movable under the effect of inhaling. The inhalation-sensitive member moves and/or deforms the actuator element from its non-actuation position towards its actuation position. The actuator element is a blocking element that, in the non-actuation position, co-operates firstly with the body and secondly with the reservoir to prevent the reservoir from moving axially in the body.

Device for inhalation-synchronised dispensing of a fluid product

Pump for dispensing a fluid product, having a piston having a pump chamber and an inlet and outlet valve. The outlet valve has an outlet valve element that slides inside the pump chamber. The pump chamber has a passage so that, at the end of actuation, the outlet valve element collaborates non-sealingly with the passage to open the outlet valve to expel product. The inlet valve has an inlet valve element sliding in a sleeve containing a spring pressing against the inlet valve element and against an end wall of the sleeve. The outlet valve element is formed by a component inserted with the ability to move into the piston, with the interposition of a second spring, the force exerted by the second spring is greater than the force exerted by the spring in the rest position, and less than the force exerted by the spring in the actuated position.

High-pressure pre-compression pump

A fluid injection device including a syringe with a body (), a piston (), and a needle () with an injection tip (); a piston rod (); and a sleeve () around the syringe and axially movable between a non-projecting position in which said sleeve () does not cover the injection tip () and a projecting position. The sleeve () urged, while in said non-projecting position, towards its projecting position by a spring (). The sleeve () has an inner portion () extending inside the body, and an outer portion () extending outside the body (), the inner portion () including a radially-deformable tab () snap-fastened in a window () of the body (), blocking the sleeve in its non-projecting position. A hollow member () co-operates, after injection, with the radially-deformable tab (), so that after the fluid is injected, the sleeve is moved automatically towards its projecting position.

Fluid injection device

A pump having a piston () sliding in a body () having a chamber () between an inlet valve () and an outlet valve (), an outlet valve element sliding during actuation in the chamber (), and a passage () wherein, at end of actuation, the outlet valve element () cooperates in a non-sealing manner with the passage to open the outlet valve. The inlet valve has an inlet valve element () that slides after closure in a sleeve () with reduced diameter and a spring () bearing on the inlet valve element and on a bottom of the sleeve. The spring () returns the piston into its rest position. The sleeve () has an inner diameter of less than 4.2 mm. The spring () has a force of at least 20 N, so that the pump delivers the fluid product at a pressure (P) of at least 15 bars.

A method for assembling a fluid product dispensing pump, including providing a piston () secured to an actuation rod (); a pump body () having a pump chamber (); a sleeve (), an outlet valve element () an inlet valve element () which slides in a sleeve () of the pump body having a reduced diameter; and a spring (). The method includes fixing the outlet valve element in the piston; inserting the piston and the outlet valve element into the sleeve; inserting from the top the spring and the inlet valve element into said sleeve; and inserting from the top the sleeve into the pump body.

Nasal spray device

An inhalation-synchronized fluid dispenser device having a body, a reservoir containing a fluid and a propellant gas that slides axially in the body, a metering valve, a blocking element movable and/or deformable between a non-actuation position and an actuation position, and an inhalation-controlled trigger system that moves and/or deforms the blocking element from the non-actuation position towards the actuation position. The device includes an actuator fastened on the reservoir and having a proximal wall fastened on the end of the reservoir, a body that slides axially past the proximal wall, and a spring arranged between the proximal wall and a distal wall of the body, the body sliding axially past the proximal wall between a rest position and a cocked position in which the spring is compressed, such that on actuation of the trigger system, the compressed spring moves the reservoir so as to actuate the metering valve.

A dispenser device for fluid or powder, including an air expeller () and a reservoir (). The reservoir () has an air inlet () connected to the air expeller () and a composition outlet () connected to a dispenser opening (), and is removably mounted on the air expeller. After actuation, the empty reservoir can be removed from the air expeller and replaced with a new reservoir. The air inlet () is closed by a first closure element () and the composition outlet () is closed by a second closure element (). A mechanical opening system () co-operates with the first and second closure elements to expel each closure element from the closed position. The mechanical opening system has a first rod () secured to the air expeller (), and a second rod () secured to the dispenser head (), co-operating with a closure element during actuation.

Fluid or powdery product dispensing device

A method of using a fluid dispenser unit having a reservoir and a piston that slides in the reservoir. The unit includes an extractor head secured to the reservoir to suck fluid to be dispensed into the reservoir, and a spray head assembled on the extractor head to spray the fluid out from the reservoir. The method includes the steps of sucking a fluid to be dispensed into the reservoir through the extractor head; assembling the spray head on the extractor head; and spraying the fluid through the spray head. The step of sucking up a fluid to be dispensed includes a first step of extracting a fluid, such as a solvent, from an extraction reservoir, and a second step of mixing the fluid with a first substance, such as a powder or a lyophilisate, so as to form the fluid to be dispensed.

The device includes an actuator element () movable and/or deformable between a non-actuation position and an actuation position; an inhalation-controlled trigger system including an inhalation-sensitive member () deformable and/or movable under the effect of inhaling and when deformed and/or moved, moving and/or deforming the actuator element () from its non-actuation position towards its actuation position; an electronic dose counter (); and a signal-transmitter () for communicating, in particular communicating remotely, information relating to the actuations of the device.

Device for the dispensing of a fluid product synchronised with inhalation

A fluid dispenser device having a reservoir () containing fluid; a dispenser head () provided with a dispenser orifice (); and a piston () for dispensing at least a portion of the fluid through the dispenser orifice (). The reservoir () is closed in leaktight manner by a closure element () before actuation. The device includes a passage () for connecting the reservoir () to the dispenser orifice () during actuation, the passage () including a hollow sleeve () that is stationary relative to the dispenser head (), for sliding around the closure element () during actuation, so as to open the passage ().

Device for dispensing a fluid product

A fluid dispenser device having a body, a reservoir including a neck, a dispenser member mounted on the reservoir, a lateral actuator system secured to the body and including a lever pivotally mounted, and a transverse projection formed directly on the reservoir and formed on or below the neck and co-operating, during actuation, with the lateral actuator system. The reservoir includes two parallel transverse projections that extend in symmetrical manner respectively on either side of the reservoir, a radial recess being defined between the two parallel transverse projections, the radial recess co-operating with the body so as to guide the reservoir axially during actuation.

Fluid product dispensing device

An inhalation-synchronized fluid dispenser device having a body provided with a mouthpiece, a fluid reservoir containing a fluid and a propellant gas mounted to slide axially, a metering valve including a valve member assembled on the reservoir for selectively dispensing the fluid. The device also includes an actuator element movable and/or deformable between a non-actuation position and an actuation position; and an inhalation-controlled trigger system including an inhalation-sensitive member deformable and/or movable under the effect of inhaling so as to move and/or deform the actuator element from its non-actuation position towards its actuation position. The actuator element is a locking element that, in its non-actuation position, enables the valve member of the metering valve to move axially in the body together with the reservoir, preventing said metering valve from being actuated when the reservoir is moved axially in the body without inhaling.

Device for dispensing a fluid product synchronised with inhalation

A metering valve for dispensing fluid, having a valve body containing a metering chamber, and a valve member slidable axially in the valve body between rest position and dispensing positions, the valve member urged towards its rest position by a spring. The valve member including a central axial channel provided with an axial outlet orifice and with a radial inlet channel arranged in the metering chamber when the valve member is in its dispensing position. The radial inlet channel including an inlet opening and an outlet opening that opens out into the central axial channel, the diameter of the radial inlet channel in the range 0.30 mm to 0.40 mm. The diameter of the outlet opening is equal to the diameter of the radial inlet channel, and the diameter of the inlet opening is greater than the diameter of the radial inlet channel.
