Various systems and devices are provided for facilitating communication in a healthcare setting. In one example, a system for providing medical information can include a processor that, in response to executing machine-readable instructions, can generate a patient dashboard comprising the medical information for a patient and a patient communication thread. The processor can also output the patient dashboard to a display, wherein the patient dashboard further comprises a first link proximate to a displayed parameter from the medical information and the processor can obtain communication among care providers monitoring the patient and virtual healthcare assistants configured to communicate on the communication thread. The processor can also output the communication from the care providers, the virtual healthcare assistances, or any combination thereof, in the patient communication thread of the patient dashboard provided by the display.

Devices and method for a healthcare collaboration space

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to enable medical image visualization and interaction in a virtual environment. An example apparatus includes at least one processor and at least one memory including instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause the at least one processor to at least: generate a virtual environment for display of image content via a virtual reality display device; enable interaction with the image content in the virtual environment via an avatar; adjust the image content in the virtual environment based on the interaction; and generate an output of image content from the virtual environment.

Overlay and manipulation of medical images in a virtual environment

Systems and methods are provided for presenting aggregate data in response to a natural language user input. In one example, a system includes a display and a computing device coupled to the display and storing instructions executable to output, to the display, a patient-specific communication thread including communication among one or more care providers monitoring a patient and a virtual healthcare assistant, generate, with the virtual healthcare assistant, a notification indicating a change in a state of the patient, and output, to the display, the notification, where the notification is displayable as part of the communication thread.

Systems and methods for collaborative notifications

Various systems and devices are provided for facilitating communication in a healthcare setting. In one example, a system includes a display and a computing device operably coupled to the display. The computing device stores instructions executable to output, to the display, a patient-specific dashboard including medical information specific to the patient, the dashboard further including a displayed link to a patient-specific communication thread; and responsive to a user selecting the link, output to the display a portion of the communication thread, where the communication thread includes communication among one or more care providers monitoring the patient and one or more virtual healthcare assistants.

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to enable medical image visualization and interaction in a virtual environment. An example apparatus includes at least one processor and at least one memory including instructions. The instructions, when executed, cause the at least one processor to at least: generate a virtual environment for display of image content via a virtual reality display device, the image content to include a two-dimensional image overlaid on a three-dimensional volume; enable interaction with the image content in the virtual environment via an avatar, movement of the avatar to be correlated with an external input; adjust the image content in the virtual environment based on the interaction; and generate an output of image content from the virtual environment.

Embodiments are disclosed herein for providing an immersive reality experience to a patient during a medical procedure. In one example, a method includes determining a location of a stressful object in a medical environment that includes a patient undergoing a medical procedure. The method further includes, upon determining that the stressful object is in a field of view (FOV) of the patient, adjusting display content based on the location of the stressful object within the FOV and outputting the display content for display on an immersive device.

Methods and systems for immersive reality in a medical environment

Embodiments are provided for a modular experience hut that may provide semi-enclosed structures for use in public or semi-public areas such as medical facilities. In an example, a modular hut includes a base, a ring rotatably coupled to the base, a seat portion coupled to an inner surface the ring, and a locking mechanism configured to lock the ring in at least a first position and a second position relative to the base. In this way, the modular hut may be positioned in different positions to allow for different seating or use arrangements.
