A method is provided for connecting a first component to a second component. The first component has a deformation region, wherein the deformation region is at least partially heated in a first step. An inner die for the plastic deformation is provided in a second method step. The first component is plastically deformed in the deformation region in order to connect the first component to the second component in a third step, and wherein the deformation region is at least partially contacted by the inner die in the second step.

Method for connecting a first component to a second component by plastic deformation

A method is provided for connecting a first component to a second component, wherein the first component has a deformation region. The deformation region is at least partially heated in a first step. In a second step an inner die, having an optical component for plastic deformation, is provided. In a third step the first component is plastically deformed in the deformation region in order to connect the first component to the second component. Light for heating the first component is directed at the deformation region by means of the optical component of the inner die in the first and/or third step.

Method for connecting a first component to a second component

A vehicle seat and a backrest adjuster () for a vehicle seat are provided in order to adjust the inclination of a backrest () of a vehicle seat (). The backrest adjuster includes a transmission element () that is coupled to a fitting () and to a pivot bearing (). A clamping element () is mounted in the region of the pivot bearing () and in the region of the fitting () lying opposite the pivot bearing. In the region between the pivot bearing () and the fitting (), the clamping element () is arranged at least in part in the transmission element ().

Method for connecting two components

The invention relates to an assembly method for forming a seating structure for a vehicle seat, having a cross support () and a side support (). For this purpose the cross support comprises at least one detent means (), and the side support has at least one complementary detent means (). During assembly, the detent means and the complementary detent means engage in each other, wherein the side support and the assembly support are positioned substantially perpendicular to each other. The cross support encompasses the side support for the engagement. The invention further relates to a seating structure produced in this way.

Vehicle seat assembly

A vehicle seat includes a backrest connected to a sitting part by a backrest adjustment element. The adjustment element has a part that is connected to the backrest or to the sitting part. At least one means is formed, incorporated, shaped and/or arranged in the backrest, in the part and/or the seat part for securing the position of the part relative to the backrest and/or to the sitting part in at least one direction.
