Dust filter bag for a vacuum cleaner

A dust filter bag for a vacuum cleaner, having a holding plate (1) of a cardboard paper material, which holding plate (1) has a sealing-closable opening (9) for a suction pipe of a vacuum cleaner, the opening (9) being adapted to be closed from the outside by a separate closure tab (10) which has an insertion region, and, in order to obtain an improved dust filter bag, the cardboard-paper material is developed in three layers (layers a, b, c) in the region of the opening (9) and in at least two layers in the remaining region of the holding plate (1), a rubber gasket (11) being gripped between two layers, preferably the second and third layers (b, c).

A vacuum cleaner nozzle arrangement has a nozzle defining a suction channel arranged across the width of the nozzle with suction edges surrounding the channel. The nozzle is connected to a connecting wand via a conduit segment disposed therebetween and a vacuum cleaner can be attached to the connecting wand. The nozzle is suspended from the nozzle housing by means of a so-called parallel crank drive. The nozzle housing is configured to be driven or pushed upon a surface to be cleaned.

An overload safety for clutches of the type having driven and drive elements arranged concentrically to each other and having a driver body which cooperates with a spring and is provided in the space between the elements. In order to obtain a small structural form which is simple to manufacture while of dependable operation, the disengaged position is obtained by the bending out of a resiliency section which crosses the space between the elements.

The invention is directed to a replaceable brush assembly for a floor cleaning device such as an electric carpet sweeper. The cleaning device is equipped with a so-called central drive. Replaceable brush assemblies are pushed over respective ends of the output shaft. Each brush assembly is equipped with a tubular brush having a ring-shaped cavity disposed in surrounding relationship to a slot formed in the end face of the output shaft. An S-shaped spring has two arms connected to each other by a straight segment which seats in the slot of the shaft when the brush assembly is mounted on the shaft. The arms are resiliently biased against the wall of the ring-shaped cavity.

A vacuum cleaner nozzle has a suction passage with a central suction opening, at least one rear support part arranged rearwardly of the central suction opening with an intermediate passage between the suction passage and the rear support part, a connecting suction member communicating with the suction passage, and at least one front support part arranged forwardly of the suction passage and having a surface area corresponding to that of the central suction opening.
