A method for improving stability of a dye used in a colored aqueous acidic rinse aid composition to ambient and ultra-violet light radiation is disclosed. The method includes the step of adding a chelant to an acidic rinse aid composition. The chelant is present in an amount of at least 1 ppm by weight of the rinse aid composition.

Method for improving dye stability in colored acidic rinse-aid formulations

A hard surface cleaning composition for removing cooked-, baked- or burnt-on soils from cookware and tableware, the composition comprising an organoamine solvent and wherein the composition has a liquid surface tension of less than about 24.5 mN/m and a pH, as measured in a 10% solution in distilled water, or least than 10.5. The composition can be used as pre-treatment prior to the dishwashing process. The composition provides excellent removal of polymerized grease from metal and glass substrates.

Cleaning composition

A multi-layered detergent tablet comprising: a) a core having a first detergent active agent; b) a first encapsulating layer surrounding said core, having a second detergent active agent; c) a second encapsulating layer surrounding said first encapsulating layer, having a third detergent active agent and a disruption system; wherein disruption of said second encapsulating layer is such that at least 25% of said third detergent active agent is released prior to release of said second detergent active agent.
