An injection needle assembly is presented having an injection needle; a tubular needle holder having distal engagement means and proximal engagement means; a tubular cap having proximal outer engagement means and proximal inner engagement means; a tubular needle cover having first engagement means arranged to cooperate with the proximal engagement means, and second engagement means arranged to cooperate with the proximal outer engagement means of the cap. A needle cover is arranged to be displaced from a first position wherein the second engagement means and the proximal outer engagement means prevents the needle cover and the needle holder to be axially displaced by a linear displacement, to a second position wherein the needle cover and the needle holder are distally displaced where the needle holder can be displaced distally, but not proximally.

Injection needle assembly

A device for delivery of medicament is presented that has an elongated housing, a container mounted within the housing and adapted to contain liquid medicament, a stopper slidably arranged within said container, and a delivery mechanism comprising a resilient member, a plunger assembly having one end connected to the stopper and a second end being operably connected to the resilient member, a rotatable latch for releasably retaining the plunger assembly in a first position where the resilient member has an accumulated energy, where rotation of the latch releases the plunger assembly such that the accumulated energy is transferred to the plunger assembly for driving the stopper within the container whereby the medicament within said container is delivered to an injection site. After delivery of the medicament a rotator having a hard stop feature aligns with a rib on the protective shield to prevent retraction of the protective shield.

Device and method for delivering a medicament

An injection delivery device involves a body, a medication-containing vial within at least a portion of the body, the medication-containing vial having an open end and a closed end opposite the open end. The open end of the vial includes a seal that prevents medication contained therein from exiting the vial until delivery of the medication to a target injection site is desired. The injection delivery device also includes a plunger positioned near the open end of the vial and a needle having a passage therethrough, wherein the needle, plunger and vial are positioned relative to each other such that, during delivery of an injection, a portion of the passage will be within the plunger, and the plunger and needle will remain stationary relative to each other while the vial moves relative the plunger in a direction towards the target injection site.

Injection delivery device

The present invention relates to a medicament delivery device comprising, a housing () having a proximal and a distal end, a delivery member connected to the housing; a medicament container () operably arranged within the housing; a drive mechanism () capable of acting on the medicament container () for priming and for expelling a dose of medicament. The invention is characterised in that the device further comprises&#x2014;an activator mechanism configured to interact with the drive mechanism, such that a first interaction between the activator mechanism and the drive mechanism causes the container to move towards the delivery member wherein the container is primed and such that a subsequent second interaction between the activator mechanism and the drive mechanism causes a dose of medicament to be expelled through the delivery member.

Medicament delivery device

The present invention relates to a delivery device for delivering predetermined amounts of fluid, comprising a body (), a container () filled with fluid to be delivered arranged inside said body, said container comprising an opening for expelling said fluid and a wall () movable inside said container (), a threaded plunger rod () arranged movable inside said body () in the longitudinal direction and in contact with said movable wail (), a manually operated push means () movable in the longitudinal direction capable of, upon operation, move said plunger rod () towards said movable wall (), thereby expelling fluid, and means for transforming a generally linear movement of said push means () to a rotational movement of said plunger rod ().

Delivery device

The present invention relates to an infusion device comprising a housing; a compartment inside said housing for positioning a medicament container, an infusion needle arranged to said housing, being connectable to said medicament container for delivering a dose of medicament, a piston plunger arranged in said housing capable of acting on said medicament container for delivering a dose of medicament, mechanical drive means capable of acting on said piston plunger for delivering a dose of medicament. The invention is characterised in that said piston plunger comprises a number of distinct segments being inter-connectable to each other for forming an elongated piston plunger.

Infusion device

The present disclosure relates to a medicament injection device () comprising a housing () arranged to receive a medicament container (), a needle cover () movable relative to the housing (), from a retracted position, in which it engages the housing () and enables medicament delivery, to an extended position, a plunger rod (), and a plunger driver () movable relative to the housing () from all initial position to a final position, and arranged to actuate the plunger rod (), wherein the plunger rod () has a first guide arrangement and the housing () has a second guide arrangement, the first guide arrangement () and the second guide arrangement being arranged to cooperate to guide movement of the plunger rod () relative to the housing (), wherein the first guide arrangement and the second guide arrangement in a first stage provide a linear motion path for the plunger rod (), enabling the plunger rod () to initially move in the axial direction and in a second stage provide a rotation motion path for the plunger rod (), enabling the plunger rod () to rotate relative to the housing () to release the plunger rod () from the plunger driver (), whereby the plunger driver () attains a released state enabling movement of the plunger driver () to its final position, wherein in the released state the plunger driver () is arranged to release the needle cover () from the housing () and to actuate the needle cover () to its extended position.

Medicament injection device

An auto-injector for hypodermic delivery of medication includes a first subassembly releasably coupled to a second subassembly. The first subassembly includes a cartridge holder configured to receive a medication cartridge, an injection needle through which medication can pass from the medication cartridge, and a needle shield movable between an extended position enclosing the needle and a retracted position in which a proximal end of the needle is not enclosed by the needle shield. The second subassembly includes a movable plunger rod positioned within a housing. Movement of the needle shield in a proximal direction from the retracted position to the extended position following administration of the medication automatically releases the first subassembly from the second subassembly. The released first subassembly is locked with the needle shield in the extended position. A new first subassembly containing an unused dosage of medication may be inserted and releasably connected to the second subassembly.

Auto-injector device

A medicament delivery device includes a housing having proximal and distal ends; a delivery member connected to the housing; a medicament container operably arranged within the housing; a drive mechanism configured to act on the medicament container for priming and for expelling a dose of medicament; and an activator mechanism configured to interact with the drive mechanism, such that a first interaction between the activator mechanism and the drive mechanism causes the container to move toward the delivery member, in which the container is primed, and such that a subsequent interaction between the activator mechanism and the drive mechanism causes a dose of medicament to be expelled through the delivery member.

The present invention relates to a medicament delivery device comprising a housing having opposite distal and proximal ends; a medicament container holder with a medicament container, disposed within the housing, wherein the container has a front opening with or for a delivery member for delivering the medicament therethrough and at least a movable stopper; a drive unit comprising a power source and a plunger rod, wherein said drive unit is arranged to be movable between a non-delivery state in which said power source is in a cocked state and a delivery state in which said power source acts on said plunger rod which in its turn acts on said stopper for delivering a dose of medicament from said medicament container; retaining means operably connected to said drive unit, and capable of holding said drive unit in its non-delivery state; and activation means operably connected to said retaining means, and capable of releasing said drive unit from its non-delivery state; wherein the device further comprises a delivery indication mechanism comprising a flexible band arranged with different indications, guide means arranged on the inner surface of the housing for storing and guiding said band, and an opening in said housing through which said indications are visible; wherein said band comprises a first end connected to said drive unit such that when said drive unit is released from its non-delivery state, said band moves through said guide means.
