There is provided shared use of licensed frequency spectrum in a mobile communications network, while maintaining confidentiality between the license holder and the licensee. Geographical information on availability of licensed frequency spectrum for shared use is obtained. A site map of a mobile communications network is obtained. The site map includes locations of sites, where wireless access to the mobile communications network is provided. A configuration of frequencies for the sites on the basis of the available licensed frequencies for shared use at each location of the sites is determined.

According to the present invention a method and an apparatus in a packet-switched network for supplying data packets to receivers (-) belonging to a multicast group are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a routing means () for receiving data packets from a sender () and for buffering data packets the destination address of which is a multicast address of a multicast group. The apparatus further comprises a control means () communicating with the routing means () for determining the addresses of the receivers (-) of the multicast group indicated by the multicast address and receiver-specific parameters, for designating filters for each receiver (-) and/or each determined receiver address in accordance with the receiver-specific parameters and for supplying the determined addresses and designated filters to the routing means (). The routing means () filters the multicast data packets and/or the determined addresses with the designated filters for each receiver (-) of the multicast group and supplies the filtered multicast dam packets to the filtered receiver addresses.

A telecommunications system for receiving from a telecommunications unit a request for data from a target network address may include a request completion unit configured to receive the request for data from the telecommunications unit and to transmit a request for the data to the target address. The request completion unit may be further configured, on receiving the data from the target address, to transmit the data to the telecommunications unit via the radio link. The request completion unit, if it is determined that the request to the target address is not satisfied, may be configured to attempt to establish communication with the target address, and, if it is determined that such communication is possible, transmit an indication via the radio link to the telecommunications unit.
