A method for straightening a distortion of a component by way of a straightening device is provided. The straightening device includes a clamping element for clamping in the component, a straightening element for introducing a straightening force into the component, and an anvil element for supporting the component during the introduction of the straightening force. Furthermore, a straightening device for straightening a distortion of a component is provided. The straightening device includes a clamping element for clamping in the component, a straightening element for introducing a straightening force into the component, an anvil element for supporting the component during the introduction of the straightening force, and a control element for operating the straightening device.

A device for die casting a metal component included a die casting mold which has a cavity that forms the component. The cavity is connected to a source for a metal melt by at least one temperature controlled supply channel. The metal melt is introduced into the cavity via at least one casting valve. The supply channel forms an annular channel, in which metal melt can be circulated via a conveying apparatus.

A processing system and method for processing a cast raw casting has a spray system for cooling the raw casting. The spray system has at least one nozzle device for at least temporally, locally, or quantitatively variable application of a free-flowing medium to at least one section of the raw casting. The processing system also has a temperature measuring device for measuring the temperature on at least one section of the raw casting and a monitoring device for controlling and adjusting the nozzle device as a function of the measured temperature.
