A reversible fiber optic cassette for mounting in a rack comprising a cassette receiving tray, the tray comprising a plurality of cassette engaging features is disclosed. The cassette comprises a cassette body comprising optic fiber receptacles arranged along a front of thereof, a multifiber receptacle along a back thereof and a plurality of optic fiber segments each between a respective one of the optic fiber receptacles and the multifiber receptacle, and a securing component comprising a main part comprising a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, a cassette engaging part extending from the first surface for engaging with the cassette body, a tray engaging feature extending from the second surface and engageable with one of the cassette engaging features. The reversible securing component is secureable on either side of the cassette body using the cassette engaging feature.

A support frame configured to provide adapter-less fiber optic connections for fiber optic cables including a connection block configured to be fixedly coupled with a main body. A front wall of the main body includes a surface configured to abut a surface of the connection block, the connection block includes a connection port configured to receive a first fiber optic connector, and the front wall of the main body includes a connection port configured to receive a second fiber optic connector. The connection port of the connection block is configured to be aligned with the connection port of the main body such that the connection block and the main body are configured to optically couple the first fiber optic connector with the second fiber optic connector, and the connection block and the main body are configured to provide an adapter-less fiber optic connection for the first and second fiber optic connectors. The connection block may be a single piece of unitary construction.

Support frame for providing adapter-less connections for fiber optic cables

A reversible fiber optic cassette is disclosed for mounting in one of a first orientation and a second reversed orientation on a tray a plurality of stabilizing slots. At least one stabilizing member is held within a respective aperture in a cassette bottom such that an L-shaped slot engaging portion extends above the first surface and a second L-shaped slot engaging portion extends above the second surface. Each of the second L-shaped slot engaging portions engages with a respective one of the stabilizing slots when the cassette is on the tray in the first orientation and each of the first slot engaging portions engages with a respective one of the stabilizing slots when the cassette is on the tray in the second reversed orientation.

Mounting system for reversible cassette

A space saving wall mount enclosure for receiving a small number of optic fiber cassettes. The enclosure receives a rack which is rotatable about a rack axis between a first closed position wherein the cassettes are held within the enclosure and the enclosure door may be closed and a second open position where the rack is rotatable outwards allowing for the insertion or removal of the cassettes.
