An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. The anti-theft device includes a plurality of arms slidingly disposed within the housing. Grips are disposed on proximal ends of the arms and are configured to receive and secure edges of an article of merchandise. A locking mechanism is disposed within the housing of the anti-theft device. The locking mechanism involves an actuator that presses a locking component to engage at least one of the arms. The arms have a first set of teeth disposed thereon, such that, when the locking component engages at least one of the arms, the first set of teeth interlocks with a second set of teeth. The arms cannot slide relative to the housing while the first set of teeth and the second set of teeth remain interlocked.

An anti-theft device for securing an article of merchandise against unauthorized removal from a display counter. A clip securely holds the article of merchandise. The clip has a hook on a bottom surface thereof. A base has an aperture configured to receive the hook. When the hook is inserted into the base through the opening, the clip is shifted relative to the base such that the point of the hook resides underneath a top plate of the base. A locking member immobilizes the clip within the base preventing the hook from becoming realigned with the base. A key is used to retract the locking member to release the clip from the base.

A male plug has a first conductive member in electrical communication with the first terminal and a second conductive member in electrical communication with the second terminal. When the male plug is positioned within the receptacle, a closed electric circuit forms between the first and second conductive members. The alarm module supplies an electric current to the first terminal and monitors the electric current flowing to the second terminal. Responsive to detecting an interruption in the electric current flowing between the first and the second terminals, the alarm module transmits an alarm signal.

An anti-theft device for monitoring connection between a male plug and a female receptacle. The male plug has a sheath enclosing a plurality of conductive pins. The sheath contains a tongue having a first retracted configuration when the male plug is outside the female receptacle and a second displaced configuration when the male plug is inserted in the female receptacle. In the second displaced configuration, the tongue engages at two conductive pins, thereby creating a closed electric circuit. An alarm module monitors the electric current flow within the electric circuit, and responsive to detecting an interruption in the electric current flow, the alarm module transmits an alarm signal.

A sensor receptacle adapted to receive the electronic sensor is integrated into a base of the device. The sensor receptacle contains apertures and the sensor contains slots that align when the sensor is placed within the receptacle. A clip is in a sliding engagement with the base. The clip slides between a locked and an unlocked positions. The clip includes one or more outwardly extending fingers that protrude through the slots of the sensor receptacle and engage the slots of the sensor when the clip is in the locked position. A locking member engages the clip preventing the clip from retracting into the unlocked position. A magnet key is used for disengaging the locking member from the clip allowing the clip to slide into its unlocked position, thereby releasing the sensor from the sensor receptacle.

A security device for securing a male contact of a cable plug within a female port. A base has a receptacle configured to receive a boot. The base and the boot house a female and a male electric contacts. The boot and the receptacle have complimentary threads enabling the boot to be screwed into the receptacle. A movable pin resides within the boot. The receptacle has a channel adapted to receive the pin. The pin and the channel align when the boot is fully screwed into the receptacle, and the pin enters the channel, thereby securing the boot within the receptacle. In this configuration, the male contact is within the female port. A magnet key is used to retract the pin to release the boot.

An anti-theft bracket for interactively displaying electronic gadgets. An electronic sensor is attached to the back of the gadget. An annular base surmounts the sensor. A circumferential channel is disposed on a lateral surface of the annular base. At least one arm is slidingly received within the circumferential channel, whereby the arm can move radially about the annular base. A clamp is in sliding communication with the arm forming an arm-clamp assembly. The overall length of the assembly is adjustable by sliding the clamp along the arm. A clamping member is attached to the clamp. A corner of the gadget is received within the space between the clamping member and the clamp, thereby securing the gadget within anti-theft device. The distance between the clamping member and the clamp may be adjustable to accommodate the thickness of the gadget.

Adjustable anti-theft bracket for displaying electronic gadgets

A self-shunting security system for detecting the absence or presence of a removable auxiliary alarm assembly for preventing theft of one or more products operatively connected to said system. A port is operatively attached to circuitry and is adapted to receive the removable auxiliary alarm assembly. A shunting assembly is also operatively attached to the circuitry and is disposed in relation to the port for detecting the absence or presence of the removable auxiliary alarm assembly within the port. The port and shunting assembly are in parallel electrical configuration. The shunting assembly automatically forms a first closed circuit when the removable auxiliary alarm assembly is not inserted into the port. Insertion of the removable auxiliary alarm assembly into the port opens the first closed circuit and forms a second closed circuit so that tampering with or removing the removable auxiliary alarm assembly opens the second closed circuit creating a moment in time where the second closed circuit and first closed circuit will both be open to activate a warning indicator.
