An electromotive furniture drive includes a motorized adjustment drive for motorized adjustment of a furniture component, a control unit connected to a motor controller of the adjustment drive, and an operating unit for operating the adjustment drive. The control unit is designed, depending on the operating situation of the electromotive furniture drive, for driving, for stopping and/or for temporarily reversing a motor of the adjustment drive via the motor control. The motor is designed as a brushed DC motor. The control unit is designed to evaluate a frequency of a counter-EMF signal generated by the motor and to detect and signal a collision and/or a jamming incident as a function of the evaluated signal.

Electric motor furniture drive

An induction hob including a first heating region with a first induction coil and a second heating region with a second induction coil is provided. First and second resonant converters drive an AC current through the first and second induction coils. The first and second resonant converters form a half-bridge resonant converter that is continuously driven such that a direction of current flow through the first induction coil and the second induction coil is alternating. The half-bridge resonant converter controls the output power of the first and second heating regions by varying the frequency of the AC current through the respective induction coil. The first and second resonant converters have different resonance frequencies such that the resonance frequency of the first resonant converter is at least 1.4 times higher than the resonance frequency of the second resonant converter.

Induction hob and method for operating an induction hob

An induction generator is connected to a three-phase mains. The induction generator includes a control unit () connected to a current transformer (), on one (L) of the lines (L, L, L) of the three-phase mains. The induction generator includes a number of power sections (). Each power section () supplies one of the induction coils (). A control unit () estimates and corrects harmonic distortions of the mains current via the current transformer (). The power transferred to a heated object as a function of the frequency is stored in a memory of the control unit (), so that the heated object is identifiable by its frequency-power characteristic. The frequency spectrum of the transferred power related to a harmonic distortion in the line (L) is stored in the memory () if the distortion exceeds a predetermined limit. The harmonic distortions are corrected by the control unit () if a heated object with the frequency-power characteristic related to the harmonic distortion is detected.

Induction generator for induction heating devices and a method for the operation of an induction generator for induction heating elements

The present invention relates to an induction cooking hob () including a number of heating zones (). Each heating zone () comprises or corresponds with at least one induction coil. Each induction coil is connected to a generator. Two or more heating zones () are linked or can be linked into a cooking area by a user. The linked heating zones () are controlled by a common power setting. An operator interface is provided for operating the heating zones (). A control unit is provided for controlling the heating zones (). The operator interface includes actuating elements corresponding with predetermined links () between the heating zones (). The control unit is provided for synchronizing the generators of the linked heating zones () by one common controller.
