A lighting system may have a power-supply circuit and at least two strings of solid-state light sources. The power-supply circuit comprises two output terminals where the power-supply circuit supplies a regulated voltage (V), and where the regulated voltage (V) is periodically activated for a first duration and de-activated for a second duration as a function of a dimming signal. A first string of light sources and a first current regulator are connected in series between the two output terminals, wherein the first current regulator is configured for regulating the current flowing through the first string. A second string of solid-state light sources and a second current regulator are connected in series between the two output terminals, wherein the second current regulator is configured for regulating the current flowing through said second string.

Lighting system, and related lighting module

A lighting device may include an elongated body having at least one light emission surface. The body has at least one longitudinal groove extending along the elongated body. The groove has a tapered cross-section with a restricted mouth portion for receiving and retaining in the groove a complementary coupling element having a restricted stem portion and an enlarged head portion.

The printed circuit board includes metallic zones including: a first, second and third positive terminal, a first and second negative terminal, wherein the second negative terminal is connected to the first negative terminal, and electric contacts for the mounting of one or more LEDs and electric traces such that the LEDs are connected in series forming a LED string. A support structure for electrically-powered lighting devices (e.g. LED modules) includes: an elongated laminar substrate having first and second mutually opposed surfaces, a layer of electrically-conductive material, e.g. copper, on the first surface of the laminar substrate, the layer including etching forming first electrically-conductive formations extending along the first surface of the laminar substrate, a distribution of electrically-conductive areas on the second surface of the laminar substrate, the distribution including electrically-conductive areas formed by means of etching and distributed with a constant separation pitch along the second surface of the laminar substrate, electrically-conductive vias extending through the laminar substrate to connect the first electrically-conductive formations and the electrically-conductive areas in said distribution, and a network of second electrically-conductive formations including electrically-conductive ink deposited (e.g. printed) on the second surface of the laminar substrate, with second electrically-conductive formations in said network being electrically connected with the electrically-conductive areas in said distribution.

Support structure for lighting devices, corresponding lighting device and method

A method for passing an electrical cable through a hole in a housing of a unit of electrical equipment is provided. The method may include: fitting onto the cable a tubular, mushroom-shaped male member comprising a stem with a threaded portion and a portion with enlarged head; inserting into the hole the cable having the male member fitted thereon extending through said hole with said portion with enlarged head abutting against the periphery of the hole externally to the housing and said threaded portion protruding inside the housing; and retaining said male member in the hole by coupling with said threaded portion that protrudes inside the housing an annular female member in the form of a nut co-operating with the periphery of the hole inside said housing to counter the movement of the female member with respect to the housing.

Method for passing an electrical cable through a hole and device for same

A lighting module includes a ribbon-like containment body with a web wall having a first and a second face opposite to each other and a pair of side walls extending sidewise of the first face of the web wall to define a channel-like shape of the containment body, a ribbon-like mounting board for mounting light radiation sources, the mounting board being arranged in the channel-like shape of the containment body with a mounting surface facing away from the first face of the web wall of the containment body, and a light radiation source mounted on the mounting surface of the board for projecting light radiation from the channel-like shape of the containment body. The lighting module includes a pair of hook-like profiles protruding from and along the second face of the web wall of the containment body to permit mounting of the lighting module by hooking to a mounting element.
