The present disclosure relates to system(s) and method(s) for providing access of an application to a user. The system receives a captcha request from a user device. Upon receiving the captcha request, the system identifies a set of IOT devices in a vicinity of the user device. The system further identifies one or more actions associated with one or more IOT devices, from the set of IOT devices. Further, the system generates a captcha message on the user device. The captcha message comprises the one or more actions to be performed by a user. The system further verifies one or more results received from the one or more IOT devices. Further, the system provides an access of the target application to the user on the user device based on the validation of the one or more results.

Providing access of an application based on real world actions in IOT collaborative environment

A method, computer program product, and system identify a low-cost time to re-boot a system. The method includes a processor obtaining a request for a re-boot of a system. The processor obtains identifiers of uncompleted tasks executing in the system. Based on obtaining the identifiers, the processor obtains a task cost of each task of the uncompleted tasks, where a value of the task cost of each task relates to a portion of each task completed by the processor at a given time. The processor determines, based on the task costs associated with the uncompleted tasks, a re-boot cost for re-booting the system at the given time. The processor determined a system cost for not re-booting the system at the given time. The processor compares the re-boot cost to the system cost to determine whether to re-boot the system at the given time in response to the request.

Rebooting timing adjustment for improved performance

A method and system for improving a functioning of critical execution computing machines. A promoted critical execution computing machine determines one or more correction actions for reducing an impact of an execution issue on execution of critical work units by respective critical execution computing machines on the execution of the critical work units by the respective critical execution computing machines according to global correction information, local correction information, and peer correction information. The global correction information had been received from a scheduling computing machine and relates to the critical work units and to the critical execution computing machines. The local correction information relates to each corresponding critical work unit and to a status of the promoted critical execution computing machine. The peer correction information relates to the corresponding critical work units and to a corresponding status of the other critical execution computing machines.

Workload management with delegated correction of execution issues for improving a functioning of computing machines

A method and system for improving a functioning of critical execution computing machines by reducing an impact of an execution issue on execution of critical work units by respective critical execution computing machines. A promoted critical execution computing machine receives global correction information relating to the critical work units and to the critical execution computing machines. The execution issue impacts execution of the critical work units by each critical execution computing machine. One critical work unit had been promoted to become a promoted critical work unit that is to be executed by the promoted critical execution computing machine. The promoted critical execution computing machine: collects local correction information, receives peer correction information, determines one or more correction actions according to the global correction information, the local correction information, and the peer correction information, and causes an application of the corresponding correction actions onto the critical execution computing machines.

A mobile computing device and method performed by a mobile computing device are provided. The mobile computing device includes a touch screen display, a touch enabled border surface, and a processor. The processor is configured to generate image data representing a viewport of the device. The processor is configured to add a graphic representation of at least one user interface element to the image data. The present invention relates to a method, computer program product and system to compute one sorted list of enumeration values in a specific language, read from at least one relational database including at least one data table storing enumeration programming variable values and at least one catalog table storing an expression, in at least one language, of the enumeration programming variable values, said method comprising the steps of receiving a request for providing enumeration variable values including one list sorted in a specific order, of the values of a specific enumeration, in a specific language; then, all the expressions of the enumeration values for the specific language for the specific enumeration read in a corresponding catalog table are sorted in the specific order; if the sorted list of the specific enumeration expression values matches a list of the specific enumeration variable values sorted in the specific order in the same catalog table, the sorted list of enumeration values in a specific language is created from this ordered catalog table; if in the preceding step the match was not found, if the sorted list of the specific enumeration expressions values matches a list of the specific enumeration variable values sorted in the reverse order from the specific order in the same catalog table, the sorted list of enumeration values in a specific language is created from the sorted catalog table; if in any of the two preceding steps, the match was not found, a new table joined table is built from data and catalog table in the standard way.

A mechanism is provided for controlling a distributed application. An indication of a computational capability of a client computing machine and of a server computing machine is detected. At least part of a page is built in response to a request received by the server computing machine from the client computing machine. The at least part of the page comprising a set of commands each one for submitting a next request on the client computing machine. Processing logic for serving each next request being split between a client processing component and a server processing component. The page with the client processing component for each command is returned to the client computing machine for causing the client computing machine to load the page and execute each client processing component in response to the corresponding next request. Each server processing component is executed in response to the corresponding next request.

Splitting of processing logics associated with commands of pages in a distributed application

A search query including search criteria can be received. The search criteria can be a text string. An enhanced search against an enhanced index can be executed. The enhanced index can be metadata associated with an enhanced cluster. The enhanced cluster can be a document cluster associated with the metadata. The enhanced cluster can be aggregated into a merged document. The merged document can be a document including the enhanced cluster contents. The ranking algorithm can be executed on the merged document to obtain a final ranking of content within the single document.

Enhancing cluster analysis using document metadata

A mechanism is provided for de-serializing a representation of a source object of a source software component written in a source language into a target software component written in a target language. A representation of the source object is received and a determination is made of a set of candidate types among a plurality of available types that are in the target language for the target software component, each candidate type being compatible with the representation of the source type. A set of match metrics is calculated, each one for a corresponding candidate type, where the match metric being indicative of a difference in information content between the candidate type and the representation of the source object. One of the candidate types is selected according to the match metrics and a mapping of the representation of the source object onto a target object of the selected candidate type is created.

Electromagnetic radiation generated from the first display is collected. The electromagnetic radiation includes first image data related to the at least one image sample at the first display. An image sample is displayed at a second display according to display settings of the second display. Electromagnetic radiation generated from the second display is collected. The electromagnetic radiation includes second image data related to the image sample at the second display. A margin of error is determined between the first image data and the second image data. The display settings of the second display are adjusted to reduce the margin of error.
