The packaging machine includes a wrapping tunnel, adapted to form a tube of plastic film around a group of articles and a feed conveyor, adapted to feed articles to be packaged toward the wrapping tunnel. An elevator is positioned between the feed conveyor and the wrapping tunnel, and is movable vertically from a lower position, to receive articles coming from the feed conveyor, to a higher height, to transfer articles to the wrapping tunnel. A pusher is arranged to push articles to be packaged from the elevator into the wrapping tunnel. An auxiliary conveyor is also provided between the feed conveyor and the elevator. An upender is associated with the auxiliary conveyor, adapted to be arranged selectively in an active position, to co-act with the auxiliary conveyor to upend articles coming from the feed conveyor and transfer them toward the elevator, and in a deactivated position.

Packaging machine with upending and stacking devices

The device includes a closed path, along which overturning members move, which are configured to pick the products in the entrance position and to release the products in the exit position. The overturning members are configured and arranged to perform, along a segment of the closed path included between the entrance position and the exit position, a rotation by about 90&#xb0;, in order to overturn the products while translating them from the entrance position to the exit position along the segment of the path.

A method and device for conveying reams of paper, whereby a ream is conveyed by at least two conveyors arranged in series and connected to each other at a transfer station; and wherein at least a first of the two conveyors is an endless conveyor having at least one ream pusher and traveling at a first speed to feed a ream to the transfer station, where the ream is accelerated to a second speed greater than the first speed to detach itself from the pusher by a distance at least equal to the length of the pusher before leaving the first conveyor.

Method and device for conveying reams of paper

A method of packing rearms of sheets, wherein each ream is defined by sheets stacked to form a rectangular-base prism of a given height, and has two base faces defined by respective end sheets in the ream, two lateral faces perpendicular to the base faces, and two end faces. The method providing for feeding the ream along a given path in a feed direction parallel to the base faces. Placing a sheet of packing material along the path of the ream and perpendicular to the feed direction, and conveying the ream and the sheet of packing material in the feed direction through a folding spindle to fold the sheet of packing material into a U about the ream.
