A reactor intended to carry out partial oxidation reactions starting from liquid feedstocks that can go from GPL to gas oil for the purpose of producing synthesis gas is characterized by finely controlled hydrodynamics and a high degree of thermal integration, and comprises an elongated jacket along an axis of any orientation, means () for supplying a preheated gas that contains oxygen and optionally water vapor, means () for supplying a hydrocarbon feedstock, means () for evacuation of a hydrogen-rich effluent, a first internal chamber () inside of which is carried out an essentially isothermal partial oxidation reaction that is connected to means () for supplying the hydrocarbon feedstock and to means () for supplying preheated gas, gas turbulizing means that are suitable for creating a perfect mixing flow, means () for linking first chamber () to a second chamber () with a suitable volume for carrying out a piston flow, linking means () that comprise at least one orifice, and second chamber () exchanging heat in an indirect manner over at least a portion of its length with means () for supplying said thus preheated gas, whereby the second chamber is connected to said means () for evacuating the hydrogen-rich effluent, and in which gas supply means () comprise an annular chamber that is essentially coaxial with the reactor jacket, and second chamber () is essentially coaxial with said jacket.

Partial oxidation reactor

The invention consists of an application of radiant burners to furnaces for heat treatment of hydrocarbon feedstocks in which the feedstock that is to be treated circulates inside an exchange tube bundle that receives the heat that is emitted by the burners essentially by radiation and for which a strict monitoring of the temperature profile along the exchange bundle is necessary. Applied to steam-cracking furnaces, the invention makes it possible to increase the propylene yield to iso ethylene yield. It also makes it possible to increase the compactness of the furnace and the longevity of the exchange bundle and to reduce the NOx emissions.

Relative and controlled sealing between a pipe () and a ceramic tube () utilizes a cylindrical chamber () that is attached in a sealed manner to the pipe (), and to one end of the ceramic tube that is placed inside the chamber. At least two sets of sealing fixtures (') are placed in an annular space between the ceramic tube and the chamber. A crosspiece () is interposed between the two sets sealing of fixtures (&#x2032;). A process for thermal pyrolysis of a feedstock containing at least 80% ethane to convert to ethylene at a conversion rate of at least equal 80% by feeding the feedstock into a reaction zone in which heating means are arranged approximately perpendicular to the direction of flow of the feedstock. The temperature of the outlet of the heating zone in the reaction zone is between 880 and 960&deg; C. and the dwell time of the feedstock in the heating zone is between 1005 and 3000 milliseconds.

Process for thermal pyrolysis of a feedstock that contains ethane

A device for removing carbon deposits on solid objects, includes an inlet (102) for the objects to be treated, a zone (101a) for heating the objects having a feed (104) and an outlet for the heating gas, a zone (101b) for treating the objects by oxidation and/or gasification having a feed (105) and an outlet (108) for the gasification fluid, an outlet (118) for the treated objects. According to the invention, regeneration is performed by filtering and by regenerating simultaneously the used absorbent; two stages are carried out for the regeneration: one, which is a rough stage, is performed in the presence of a regeneration gas; the other, a free stage, is performed in the presence of a fresh regeneration gas.
