The invention relates to a cableway installation for transporting persons by disengageable vehicles and carrying cable comprising: a first station () equipped with a first end pulley, a second station () equipped with a second end pulley, a relay structure equipped with a first idler pulley and a second idler pulley, a first cable loop engaged with the first end pulley and the first idler pulley, and a second cable loop engaged with the second end pulley and the second idler pulley. The relay structure comprises a transfer system for transferring vehicles between the first cable loop and the second cable loop and a fixed guiding track supporting a structure translationally moveable with respect to the fixed guiding track, the moveable structure bearing the first idler pulley, the second idler pulley and embarking the vehicle transfer system.

Cable transport installation, including: at least one carrier, a first hauling cable to haul at least one carrier and describing a first closed loop, and a second hauling cable to haul at least one carrier and describing a second closed loop, the second loop surrounding the first loop so as to create a separating space between the first and second hauling cables.

An aerial transport installation with back-and-forth movement includes two carrying-hauling ropes extending in two individual closed loops between two end terminals separated from one another by an intermediate station which is provided with a double pulley. The latter is provided with two grooves having different groove root diameters, such that the ratio of the diameters is equal to the ratio respectively of the axial distance between the first bull-wheel and the double pulley and of the axial distance between the second bull-wheel and the double pulley. The speeds of the vehicles are also different in the two loops.
