This device comprises a connection module () intended to be coupled with the longitudinal mating face of a box () and making an electrical connection with, on the one hand, pins protruding from this longitudinal mating face and, on the other hand, with conducting cables, the module () and the box () being mated by a system of slides () allowing them to be fastened by longitudinal sliding, with locking by a resilient tab (). The resilient tab () is associated with the box () and is intended to cooperate with a locking member () associated with the connection module ().

Connection device for an electronic box includes a connection module intended to be mated with the longitudinal assembling face of a box and making an electrical connection with, on the one hand, pins projecting from this longitudinal assembling face and, on the other hand, with conducting cables. The pins are longitudinal and the module is fastened to the box by a system of discontinuous slideways allowing them to be fastened by longitudinal sliding and reversible locking via a resilient tab fitted into a recess in the box.

The device includes an insulating casing defining at least one connecting housing and, in each connecting housing, an interconnection piece arranged in the casing and provided with at least one connecting branch, a connecting spring, a cam for compressing the spring to uncover the connection opening, and to allow the conductor for connecting to be introduced. The cam which is fitted into the connecting housing so as to be able to move in terms of rotation between a start of travel corresponding to the spring being in a relaxed state and an end of travel corresponding to the spring being in a compressed state, and which is provided with an operating lever extending at least partially out of the casing to allow the cam to be operated between the start and the end of travel and which has a cam path includes on the one hand, a zone known as the dead zone, through which the cam can pivot from the start of travel without acting on the spring and, on the other hand, a zone known as the active zone, following on from the dead zone. The device also includes rib and stalks slowing the rotation of the cam in the start-of-travel and end-of-travel position.

A clipping arrangement for clipping an electrical or electro-optical equipment module onto a support rail (1), the arrangement comprising a rigid hook-forming first portion (5) adapted to hook onto a first edge of the rail, and a catch-forming second portion (6) which is adapted to hook onto a second edge of the rail under the action of a resilient return force and which can be driven remotely by a tool blade that is inserted into a remotely located hole-forming driver device (7) provided in the arrangement to enable the blade to act by leverage. Terminal block comprising two connection devices In this terminal block, each connection device has a stripping and retaining slot provided with a wire entry at one end, as well as an insulating casing having, opposite the slots, an opening allowing a wire facing the wire entry to be inserted and slid into the slot. The stripping slots are approximately parallel and the wire entries face each other. The terminal block also has, placed between the two connection devices, a double pusher fitted so as to slide parallel to the direction of the stripping slots between a position of interpenetration with respect to a first connection device and a position of interpenetration with respect to the other connection device.

A link connection and/or disconnection accessory for a terminal module and for a row of terminal modules for links of a terminal assembly in which the modules identically include one or more connection pieces each for at least one link, at least one through opening for a link, and a tool-insertion opening, corresponding insertion openings of the modules being in alignment when the modules containing them are aligned in a row. The accessory is constituted by a 'drive' unit including means enabling it to remain secured to at least one module and to be displaced from module to module, and also at least one connection and/or disconnection mechanism enabling it to act via at least one insertion opening of the terminal module on which the drive unit is currently positioned. The invention also relates to terminal assemblies fitted with such an accessory.

Fast-acting insulation-displacement connector

A connection module including an insulating housing inside which a conductive connector part is held stationary, which connector part has a slot for receiving an electrical wire, into which housing an auxiliary part penetrates that is provided with a wire-pusher element mounted to slide in the housing along the slot and along a wire-receiving opening in the housing. The auxiliary part is provided with an operating element which projects from the housing, and which is held in the pushed-in position by co-operation between a holding mechanism that it carries and complemetary holding mechanism in the housing. Structure provided on the operating element make it possible to act from the outside on the holding mechanism, thereby releasing the auxiliary part when it is held stationary so as to enable it to slide.

A terminal includes a metal component held in a housing in the form of at least one connection unit having the general plan appearance of a hollow, convex hexagon split on a longitudinal plane about which it is symmetrical for the purpose of connecting a single electric wire via two parallel stripping and retaining slits. Each unit includes two support sides which project in parallel from a fixed base and each of which carries two other sides of the hexagon shaped unit. Each slit is formed between two sides that are symmetrical. The two support sides press against different mutually parallel walls of the housing via respective symmetrically disposed projections.
