A support system for vertically hanging a flexible banner, the system including two horizontally extending arms for supporting a banner tautly. A dampener is connected at an inner end of each respective arm, the dampener including: a) a movable first element on which is fixed a respective horizontally extending arm; b) a fixed bracket second element for securement to a vertical support surface; and c) an intermediary elastic member mounted between the first and second elements.

Device for supporting a banner or flexible panel

A foldup grandstand, in which the rows of seats telescope into an unfolded position with the rows of seats available for the spectators, or into a folded position in which the rows of seats are nested one above the other. A series of frames with wheels support the seats, and a V-shaped pieces and frame aligned with a centering finger on an adjacent frame to join the two frames together. The finger has a bent shape and a special head which facilitates its alignment with the V-shaped piece. A self-locking element, rollers, ballast, drivers, cable drives, and an immobilization or locking members are also parts of the grandstand mechanism.

Anti-theft device for hoisting or striking a flag or the like (6) along a support structure, in particular a vertical pole (2), with of a halyard (8) interacting with a drive pulley (18) mounted at the upper part of this pole and one end of which links (33) to the upper corner of the flag. In this device the axle (19) of the drive pulley is rotationally controlled, in the direction which rolls up the halyard to hoist the flag or unrolls it to strike the latter, by a reduction motor (21) powered by an electrical energy source (15), controlled via a control circuit from a receiver (25) sensitive to radiation, which is preferably encoded, originating from a transmitter (9) situated remotely.

Table flag holder intended to decorate a desk or a table for supporting a pole and banner is provided with a base, and a plurality of inclined surfaces on the base. The plurality of inclined surfaces are constructed and arranged in concentric crowns so that viewing of adjacent flags is not obstructed. Each of the plurality of inclined surfaces includes a series of holes capable of supporting a pole within each hole. Moreover, there is provided a mechanism for radially orienting each of the poles with respect to the base so as to avoid rotation of the pole with respect to the base.

This method of printing a material consists in decorating the material with a multicolor design or composition consisting of an assembly of elementary primary forms such any desired geometrical forms, numeral and letters having each a primary color, this multicolor design being composed preliminarily on a provisional carrier from inks adapted to be transferred to the material under the combined action of heat and pressure. A basic bundle of colored sheets is formed by stacking one or a plurality of sheets having one flat face covered with sublimable ink. The sheets are cut simultaneously to the contours of the elementary forms of the decorative design with respect to the peripheral contour of the material, each or all the sheets having consequently a cut area corresponding to the elementary forms of the final design. The multicolor decorative design is composed on a provisional carrier by superposing and/or juxtaposing the precut elementary primary forms which are taken from the sheet having the corresponding primary color, and the thus composed multicolor design is transferred from the provisional carrier to the material to be decorated while maintaining a close contact, by pressure, between the provisional carrier and the material and heating the assembly in order to sublimate the inks and cause an accurately positioned diffusion of the inks in the material.

Method of multicolor printing a material

This isolation hut intended for temporary or provisional use, notably as a polling-booth during elections or like events, or as a transportable trying cubicle, a dressing-room during occasional events, or the like, consists of a frame structure made from a basic folding sheet of cardboard, pasteboard or light-weight multilayer material, or metal, comprising a plurality of lateral walls and a front access aperture. This structure is stiffened on the one hand by bending the basic sheet material and on the other hand by means of posts disposed at the corners of the structure, a cross bar constituting a lintel disposed at the top of the front aperture, and possibly a desk-forming element, all these elements being obtained by folding a flexible sheet of the same basic material as the basic folding sheet constituting the frame structure.

Isolation hut

A plurality of similar barrier section connectable demountably for forming in assembly dismantable safety barrier. Each barrier section has a frame with upstanding opposite end members. Horizontal members are connected to the end members to define the frame. The frame has inside thereof members so that a fence can be formed with the individual barrier sections. Each frame has feet thereon to maintain the corresponding frame generally stably upstanding. Each of the barrier sections has two hooks fixed spaced vertically on each same upstanding end member of the frame of the corresponding barrier section. Each hook has a straight part extending generally horizontally away from the same end member of each of the individual frames and generally parallel with a corresponding side of the frame. Each of the two hooks has a reversely bent free end forming a loop open toward the corresponding end member on which the hook is disposed. The two loops of the two hooks are looped toward each other. The opposite end member of another barrier section is received in the loops when the barrier sections are assembled into a barrier and are held from unintentionally being moved away from each other.

Hooking device for safety barriers

This safety barrier comprising a frame and two stands is obtained by bending a tube for forming the lateral uprights and the handrail as well as two first legs of the stands, and by fixing the bottom rail consisting of another tube bent at both ends for forming the legs complementary to the first legs. The angle of divergence and/or the length of one pair of legs forming a first stand differ from those of the other pair of legs forming the other stand of the barrier. The invention is applicable to the iron-work industry in general.
