Described are various embodiments of a line-of-sight (LoS) sensor mounting system and method. In one such embodiment, a LoS sensor mounting system is described for operatively mounting a LoS receiver and LoS transmitter on a structure having opposed external walls, comprising a mounting plate and an alignment jig comprising a mounting plate engagement structure and an alignment barrel dimensioned. The alignment barrel is dimensioned to receive an aperture-forming tool operable therethrough along a LoS axis so to form a counterpart external wall LoS aperture within an opposed external wall.

Line-of-sight sensor mounting system and method

An inter-connecting structure is provided for connecting multiple parts of a container. The inter-connecting structure comprises a first part comprising a plurality of inter-connecting tabs and slits on an edge; a second part comprising a plurality of inter-connecting tabs and slits on an edge to be joined with the edge of the first part; wherein the inter-connecting tabs and slits share an overlapping portion and once the two parts are connected to each other, the engaged inter-connecting tabs are disposed in an internal region of the container.

Inter-connecting means for multi-part container

Methods and systems for integrating multiple portions of a container are provided. The method and system are specifically designed for integrating multiple shell portions with ear lobe-shaped tabs. The method comprises: providing a first set of retention structures to be associated with a plurality of inter-connecting features formed on an edge of a first shell part, wherein the first set of retention structures comprise at least a lead-in feature and a retention feature; providing a second set of retention structures to be associated with a plurality of inter-connecting features formed on an edge of a second shell part, wherein the second set of retention structures comprise at least a deflection feature and a retention feature; and engaging the two shell parts with aid of the retention structures.

An apparatus an unmanned aerial vehicle recovery system is provided. The apparatus includes a base to mount to an unmanned aerial vehicle. The apparatus further includes a housing to engage the base. In addition, the apparatus includes a parachute disposed within the housing. Also, the apparatus includes a deployment mechanism to deploy the parachute. The deployment mechanism is to eject the housing away from the base upon a triggering event.

Unmanned aerial vehicle recovery systems and methods

A cone staging apparatus for production of smoking articles includes (a) a frame, and (b) a cone pallet releasably supported by the frame. The cone pallet includes a plurality of cavities. Each cavity has an open upper end for receiving a cone therein. The apparatus further includes (c) a cone magazine adjacent the frame for holding a supply of cones. The cone magazine includes at least one escapement alignable over the open upper end of a respective cavity of the cone pallet to facilitate transferring a single cone from the supply of cones to the respective cavity.

Cone staging apparatus and related methods

Convertible mobile device

A cone filling apparatus for production of smoking articles includes: (a) a cone pallet including a plurality of cavities, each cavity for holding a respective cone; (b) a delivery chute having a load end for receiving a smokeable product from a source and an unload end downstream of the load end for unloading the smokeable product from the chute; and (c) a dosing tray disposed above the pallet. The dosing tray includes a plurality of transfer sleeves. Each sleeve has an upper sleeve end for receiving smokeable product unloaded from the unload end of the chute, and a lower sleeve end for dispensing the smokeable product into a cone held in a respective cavity aligned beneath the lower sleeve end.

Cone filling apparatus and related methods

The helmet uses a new fastener to fasten a cage to the helmet shell allowing sides of the cage to be mounted directly against the shell, reducing the width of the shell on each side. A ball is attached to a portion of a bar of the cage to act as a limit stop precluding movements of the cage with respect to the helmet. A chin bar is fastened to the helmet at two points on each side of the shell. The shell is molded with recessed portions designed to receive the two branches of the chin bar on each side where they will be fastened to the shell so that the outer surfaces of the chin guard are flush with the shell at the locations of attachment to provide a smooth transition and reduce weight. An adjustment device to adjust the fit of the helmet to the user includes a star wheel on each side of the helmet attached to an arcuate flexible strip extending rearwardly around the occipital area of the skull. A sliding mechanism attached to the strip allows the strip to be moved forward and backward to allow it to be tightened or loosened, respectively, with respect to the player's head. A ratcheting lateral adjustment device is also disclosed.

Sport helmet

A nozzle for a dispensing spout provides physically separate conduits, through which a liquid and air pass between a reservoir containing a liquid to be dispensed and a container into which the liquid is to be dispensed. The fluid and air conduits, as well as their respective opposing ends, are sized and shaped to provide an unobstructed air conduit which can carry ambient air into the reservoir at a rate that is at least equal to the rate at which liquid can flow out of the reservoir at a gravitational flow rate.

A helmet having a chin bar fastened at two points on each side of the shell. The shell is molded with recessed portions designed to receive the two branches of the chin bar on each side where they will be fastened to the shell so that the outer surfaces of the chin guard are flush with the shell at the locations of attachment to provide a smooth transition and reduce weight. An adjustment device to adjust the fit of the helmet to the user includes a star wheel on each side of the helmet attached to an arcuate flexible strip extending rearwardly around the occipital area of the skull. A sliding mechanism attached to the strip allows the strip to be moved forward and backward to allow it to be tightened or loosened, respectively, with respect to the player's head.
