Wireless communications systems and methods related frame-based equipment (FBE) communications in a wireless communication network are provided. PDCCH based user equipment (UE) channel occupancy time (COT) trigger in frame based equipment (FBE) mode

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink grant scheduling an uplink transmission that is not aligned with a fixed frame period (FFP) boundary configured for the UE. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) including an indication that the UE is to initiate a channel occupancy time (COT) acquisition in association with transmitting the uplink transmission. The UE may modify the indication based at least in part on the uplink transmission not being aligned with the FFP boundary and the indication indicating that the UE is to initiate the COT acquisition. The UE may transmit the uplink transmission based at least in part on the uplink grant and after the modification of the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Techniques for operation when a scheduled uplink transmission is misaligned with a fixed frame period

Wireless communications systems and methods related to cross Component Carrier (CC) transmission are provided that assist in minimizing PAPR. A first wireless communications device repeats data across multiple CCs in order to increase coverage while maintaining power levels within approved limits. In order to reduce PAPR, a number of different methods and mechanisms may be used. Rate matching may be performed across the multiple CCs as though a single virtual BWP. Alternatively, each copy of the data on its separate CC may be modified differently in some way, such as by using different scrambling IDs or different redundancy versions. Additionally, when utilizing DFT-s-OFDM modulation, an alternative method is provided which may lower PAPR. The DFT method includes performing a DFT on the combined data, tone mapping to each of the carriers, and performing an IFFT for each carrier individually. Each IFFT may be different than the other.

NR-U for 6GHz band: PAPR reduction for cross CC transmission

Aspects relate to mechanisms for a wireless communication device to configure and indicate sidelink control information (SCI) for sidelink communication within a slot over a sidelink channel. The SCI can include first stage SCI (SCI-1), second stage SCI (SCI-2), and third stage SCI (SCI-3). The SCI-1 may be transmitted within a control region of the slot, whereas the SCI-2 and the SCI-3 may be transmitted within a data region of the slot. The SCI-2 may include information for decoding SCI-3, including, for example, a resource size, modulation order, and rate-matching behavior of the SCI-3. The sidelink communication can further include sidelink data traffic that may be communicated in the data region of the slot.

Third stage sidelink control information design

The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or a base station. In one aspect, the apparatus may transmit a list of a plurality of CCs for a transmission of at least one PDCP PDU, the plurality of CCs corresponding to a plurality of indicated CCs. The apparatus may also transmit the at least one PDCP PDU on one or more CCs of the plurality of CCs. Additionally, the apparatus may determine whether to retransmit the at least one PDCP PDU, a retransmission of the at least one PDCP PDU being associated with a PDCP duplication procedure. The apparatus may also select one or more CCs of the plurality of CCs for the retransmission of the at least one PDCP PDU.

Enhancement of PDCP duplication

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method performed by a communication device. The method includes obtaining, in frequency domain, channel estimation for a transmission unit for a channel between the communication device and another communication device, and calculating correlation coefficients for the transmission unit based on the channel estimation. The method also includes obtaining a delay spread for the channel from the calculated correlation coefficients.
