Aspects of the present innovations relate to systems and/or methods involving multimedia modules, objects or animations. According to an illustrative implementation, one method may include accepting at least one input keyword relating to a subject for the animation and performing processing associated with templates. Further, templates may generates different types of output, and each template may include components for display time, screen location, and animation parameters. Other aspects of the innovations may involve providing search results, retrieving data from a plurality of web sites or data collections, assembling information into multimedia modules or animations, and/or providing module or animation for playback.

Systems and methods for assembling and/or displaying multimedia objects, modules or presentations

A method to facilitate a language independent search includes displaying a search attribute, including an attribute name and a selection of attribute values, to a user and receiving from the user a search attribute value selection corresponding to the attribute name. Then, the attribute name and attribute value selection are translated into language independent symbols, such as numbers. The numbers are used in a search of a sellers item listings table to select item listings with attribute values that match the search attribute values selected by the user.

Method and system to display and search in a language independent manner

A graphical user interface includes tabs representative of different classes of search results. The tabs are derived in response to the processing of a query. The different classes of search results group content by meaning, such that a query term with different meanings produces different classes of search results with different meanings.

A system is provided to monitor a user's interaction with a computer. The system may comprise a reference string generator to generate a random reference string, an image generator to generate an image including the random reference string, a communications module to communicate the image to a client computer for display to a user and to receive user input data and a comparator to compare the random reference string and the user input data to detect human interaction with the computer. The image including the random reference string may be generated such that each character in the random reference string is off-centered.

A method of, and system for, monitoring interaction between a user and a computer is provided. The method includes generating an image including random reference data readable by the user, and communicating the image to the computer for display to the user. User input data is then received and a comparison between the random reference data and the user input data is performed to determine if the user is interacting with the computer.
