A pet habitat for housing at least one pet animal has a side wall barrier which allows an unobstructed viewing of the animal. The pet habitat comprises a base member, at least two substantially vertical posts secured to the base member, the side wall barrier and a top member dimensioned to overlie the posts and be secured thereto. The side wall barrier is formed from at least one substantially clear side wall section removably mounted on adjacent vertical posts and, in the preferred embodiments, at least one wire frame side wall section mounted on adjacent posts. The clear side wall and wire frame member sections collectively form the side wall barrier. The clear wall section is readily removed and cleaned when needed so that enhanced viewing of the interior of the habitat is maintained.

A portable play yard comprises a frame assembly and a fabric enclosure. The frame assembly comprises lower and upper corner rail connecting members, vertical corner rails, a pair of pivotally connected floor support rails between each set of lower corner rail connecting members, and a pair of pivotally connected upper side rail members between each set of upper corner rail connecting members. A frame lock is mounted on ends of the upper side rails to hold the side rails in a straight in-line mode or, upon rotation, allows the side rails to pivot downwardly. Meshing hinge gears in each frame lock form a single pivot point for the two upper side rail ends held by the frame lock. The frame assembly is folded to a compact unit by initially rotating the frame locks and then folding the assembly. The frame assembly is capable of holding the fabric enclosure so as to provide a play yard.

A fishing implement has a generally elongated, substantially cylindrical body with at least one substantially axial slot and at least one or a series of interconnecting substantially radial slots extending along its length. The slots generally alternate from axial to radial along the length of the body, with each slot extending approximately to the longitudinal axis of the body. The alternating axial and radial slots form a circuitous passageway for readily threading a fishing implement to a fishing line in a fixed position and easily removing it thereafter, while the terminus wall of the axial slot or slots form a central straight passageway through the implement so that the fishing sinker is also capable of free sliding movement along the fishing line.

A modular fishing float system comprises a series of interchangeable top float components and bottom float components of varying lengths and weights. The top and bottom float components have attaching means which allows their assembly together to form a full float. The fisherman is able to select a particular top float component and a particular bottom float component for assembly together dependent on various conditions such as water conditions, weather conditions and anticipated fish size.

The present invention is directed to a collapsible stroller with a stowable tray. The tray mechanism is associated with the stroller. The tray mechanism includes a tray portion, a swivel mechanism located at one end of the tray portion, and a latching mechanism located at an opposite end of said tray portion. The swivel includes a sleeve which engages a member of the stroller and is adapted to allow the sleeve to rotate about the member. A pin is affixed to the tray portion and is perpendicular to the member of the stroller. The tray portion engages the pin and is adapted to rotate with the pin.

A baby swing support structure having a front post construction which, in side elevation, defines a scoop or concave shape to provide ready access to a baby from the sides or front. A stabilizing step at the bottom front of the posts provides a stabilizing means for preventing tipping of the support frame when a baby is to be removed, an important safety feature.

A booster seat has provisions for accomodating a child in a number of different height positions. The booster seat comprises an open-sided base and a seat piece. The open-sided base has a forward channel and a back channel in each of two side supports. A seat of vertically spaced substantially level ledges are found in the channels, vertically offset from one another. The seat piece has a forward protrusion and a back protrusion on each side edge. The protrusions are vertically offset a distance substantially equal to the offset distances between the ledges so that when the protrusions engage the ledges in the base, the seat piece is substantially horizontal and secured in the open-sided base.
