What is claimed is: a loose cosmetic powder, comprising: a base component including particles that include one or more of talc, mica, zinc stearate, boron nitride, and one or more pigments; and color bits, wherein the loose cosmetic powder displays a color change when subjected to an application of pressure.

Anhydrous cosmetic compositions comprising hydrolyzed jojoba ester with increased short- and long-term thermal stability are disclosed. The compositions exhibit increased thermal stability of at least about 1&#xb0; C., preferably at least about 5&#xb0; C., and most preferably, at least about 10&#xb0; C., and optimally at least about 15&#xb0; C. The compositions provide excellent aesthetic and long-wear properties and are resistant to liquid syneresis and are useful in cosmetic and personal care formulations.

Cosmetic compositions with improved thermal stability and wear

The present invention includes a cosmetic formulation. The cosmetic formulation comprises a plurality of spheres having a first desiccated volume and having a second hydrated volume. The hydrated volume is greater than the desiccated volume.
