A plant edging is disclosed herein that has an inner side and an outer side and includes a sidewall having a top end and a bottom end with the bottom end configured to engage soil, a head connected to the top end of the sidewall, and a rib connected to and extending away from the outer side near the bottom end of the sidewall. The plant edging is arranged to substantially seal an opening in a landscaping barrier film, and to define a partial enclosure that inhibits ingrowth of invasive weeds.

A footwear device is provided having a deformable heel contact member. The heel contact member extends above a top portion of the footwear's sole and deforms into a cavity formed in the sole when the user's heel applies a force against the heel contact member. The heel contact member is resilient and returns to its original shape when the force against the heel contact member is eliminated. The heel contact member is particularly well suited to reduce heel slap of open heeled footwear.

The invention provides an apparatus to hold one or more windshield wipers stationary against a vehicle window. The apparatus comprises a window placement module comprising a vacuum cup that has a vacuum zone and an attachment means that is located at a point on the cup other than within the vacuum zone. The attachment means is linked to a first point of an arm that comprises a constraint feature to hold a windshield blade in place and further comprises a leverage feature to raise or lower the height of the constraint feature relative to the first point of the arm.

A game apparatus involving launching and catching of a game piece includes a pincer tool having first and second opposed members that are articulatable with respect to one another to capture the game piece between the articulatable members, and to also accelerate the game piece radially outwardly from a pivot region. The pincer tool of the game apparatus therefor acts to launch the game piece merely through relative articulation of the opposed first and second members toward one another while the game piece is in contact with both of the first and second members.

A scooter includes a main body having a triangular shape including three lower pivotable wheels. Three handles are defined interior to the main body, one along each of the sides. The body includes a domed shape and a textured surface. A central opening is provided in the main body to allow for stacking of the scooters for storage. During stacking, the scooters are alternated relative to one another so that the points and the sides are offset, resulting in compact and secure storage.

A mouthguard has an initial, substantially linear configuration and may be worn in a variety of applications including to protect a person's teeth when the person is engaged in a sports activity such as football, lacrosse, and other contact sports, as well as for concussion protection, user performance enhancement and so forth. The mouthguard includes a first end trough region generally shaped to cooperatively enclose one or more teeth on a first side of a mouth, a second end trough region generally shaped to cooperatively enclose one or more teeth on a second side of the mouth and a connection region spanning between the first end trough region and the second trough region. The connection may include a shaping element for reversibly forming a second, generally non-linear configuration.

A chair apparatus is provided with multiple pivot axis for improving core strength, posture, and circulation of the user. The chair apparatus includes a seat portion that is capable of pivotal movement about multiple pivot axes and along a surface. The chair apparatus further includes a frame coupled to the seat portion, wherein the frame limits the pivotal movement of the seat portion only when the chair apparatus is placed in a supported orientation.

Packaging apparatus for retaining a projectile launched from a launcher are disclosed. The packaging defining a chamber to receive the projectile and permit the visualization of the flight of the projectile after it is launched from the launcher. The launcher configured to impart a motive force to the projectile and to launch the projectile from the launcher. The launcher includes an actuator to permit a user to launch the projectile from the launcher and into the chamber while at least a portion of the launcher is secured within the packaging.

Packaging apparatus and methods for demonstrating object motion

A treadmill is provided that has a treadmill drive motor carriage that can pivot relative to a frame of the treadmill such that the incline of the treadmill can be controlled while the carriage can be moved to a position that permits upright storage of the treadmill on the carriage. This arrangement advantageously permits a walk through treadmill design to be used that can be stored uprightly. The treadmill can be equipped with a console and stanchion that can be folded against the deck of the treadmill. One incline arrangement pivots the carriage using an incline drive carried by the carriage that engages a gear grounded to the treadmill frame. Another preferred incline arrangement uses a four bar linkage movable carried by the frame that is driven by a linear actuator to pivot the carriage.
