In one example, a method performed by a processing system including at least one processor includes acquiring a first item of media content from a user, where the first item of media content depicts a subject, acquiring a second item of media content, where the second item of media content depicts the subject, compositing the first item of media content and the second item of media content to create, within a metaverse of immersive content, an item of immersive content that depicts the subject, presenting the item of immersive content on a device operated by the user, and adapting the presenting of the item of immersive content in response to a choice made by the user.

Compositing non-immersive media content to generate an adaptable immersive content metaverse

A device designed for utilization in a solar driven air conditioning system. The device is designed to maximize air flow through a conditioning medium, such as the earth or a large capacity heat sink, by introducing heat from a solar collector into a vertical solar chimney utilizing the thermosiphoning effect of warm liquid, thereby causing increased air flow up through the chimney because of the well known effect of rising hot air.

A device and method are shown for splicing a rope of the type made up of multiple strands. A frame is adapted to receive a length of rope to be spliced. A flexible cable extending between sides of the frame secures the rope within the frame. A fluid actuated piston-cylinder and cable-pulley arrangement cooperate to provide an upwardly biasing force to bias a selected strand of the rope outwardly from the remaining rope strands secured within the frame. The user of the device can then pass a strand free end through the opening to effect a splice.
