A textile machine for producing cross-wound packages, the machine being equipped with a plurality of workstations arranged next to one another on both longitudinal sides of the machine and having a cross-wound package transport apparatus. The cross-wound package transport apparatus has a first transport device, arranged between the two rows of workstations for conveying cross-wound packages, and a handling apparatus for moving cross-wound packages from the first transport device to the second transport device. The handling apparatus is arranged between the end regions of the first transport device.

Fibre band opening device for an open-end spinning device having a feed tray, a fibre band pull-in cylinder, and an opening roller having an opening roller clothing, the tips of which lie on a circular cylindrical surface, a support surface for fixing a fibre tuft, which is processed by the opening roller by combining, the distance of which support surface from the circular cylindrical surface is tapered in the fibre transport direction to a minimum distance, and a transition area having a convex curvature between the clamping surface and the support surface. The support surface has a distance of between 4 and 8 millimetres from the circular cylindrical surface at the beginning of the support surface with respect to the fibre transport direction, and the minimum distance of the support surface from the circular cylindrical surface is less than 1.5 millimetres.

A textile machine for producing cross-wound packages, comprising a plurality of workstations, each of which has at least one pneumatic consumer, and comprising a suction system which has at least one vacuum source to which the pneumatic consumers of the workstations are connected via a machine-length vacuum duct arranged in the region of the central axis between two rows of workstations. In order to modify such a textile machine producing cross-wound packages in such a way that it is ensured that the required minimum spinning vacuum is always available at all workstations of the textile machine during spinning operation, according to the invention the textile machine producing cross-wound packages has, in addition to the vacuum duct, a machine-length bypass duct which is also installed in the region of the central axis and is arranged above chain ducts for service units.

A tube storage and transport device for a textile machine producing cross-wound packages, which has a plurality of similar workstations arranged side-by-side on both longitudinal machine sides, having a central tube magazine and two empty-tube conveyor belts arranged in the region of the longitudinal machine sides is provided. To improve the known tube storage and transport devices, and in particular to optimize the clock times that can be achieved during the empty-tube delivery, the tube magazine has at least two elevator units, that the elevator units have stacked and vertically displaceable holders for empty tubes, that the holders are designed for the empty tubes to be set down in a manner oriented the longitudinal direction of the machine, and that each of the elevator units is connected to one of the empty-tube conveyor belts and is designed in such a way that empty tubes are removed from the elevator units from the longitudinal machine side and transferred onto the empty-tube conveyor belts.

A fiber guide channel device for an open-end spinning mechanism with a fiber guide channel body, for fixation in an opening roller housing and having a receiving opening for a fiber guide channel insert in the region of a fiber guide channel entry defining a central fiber guide channel for pneumatically transporting individual fibers combed by an opening roller from a feed sliver to a high speed spinning rotor in a negative pressure rotor housing. The fiber guide channel body () is configured of a plastics material and the fiber guide channel insert () is manufactured as a sleeve-like annularly-closed component of a highly abrasion-resistant material.

An axial bearing for a high speed open-end spinning rotor mounted without axial thrust in a support disc bearing arrangement has a static magnetic bearing component secured in a bearing housing with at least two axially polarized permanent magnet rings limited by pole discs, and a dynamic magnetic bearing component having ferromagnetic webs on the rotor shaft at the spacing of the pole discs. The static magnetic bearing component () is arranged inside a plastic bearing bush () and secured by a plastic closing lid (). The front side of the closing lid () has a stop journal () forming an axial emergency operation bearing and the rear side has a conically widened fastening lug () which is elastically deformed as installed.

Clothing ring () for an opening roller () of an open-end spinning device (), comprising teeth () which are formed by at least one groove () incorporated in the peripheral face of a basic body () and running in the peripheral direction, and a plurality of indents () arranged substantially in the axial direction. An axial separation spacing (t) of the teeth () is predetermined by the groove () and is significantly smaller than the height (H) of the teeth (). The teeth () have tooth flanks () which are continuously concavely curved into the groove ().

Fitting ring for an opening roller of an open-end spinning device

An open-end spinning device comprises a spinning rotor () rotating in a rotor housing with a spinning insert () supported rotatably with respect to the spinning rotor () coaxially to the rotor axis (). The spinning insert () can be caused to rotate as a function of the rotary motion of the spinning rotor () via a contactless entrainment of the spinning insert () by means of permanent magnets () attached to the spinning insert (). In this manner a simple and reliable entrainment and an automatic adjusting of the rotational speed of the spinning insert () in the spinning rotor () are achieved.

An open-end spinning device has a spinning rotor () with a rotor groove () at its greatest inside diameter in which fibers are collected. A yarn shank () extending from a yarn withdrawal nozzle to the rotor groove () is curved in the vicinity of the rotor groove () counter to the direction of rotor rotation during the spinning process forming a lagging tie-up zone whereat yarn formation takes place. A rotor insert () is rotatably supported within the spinning rotor coaxially to the rotor axis. The rotor insert () can be caused to rotate in a contactless manner by the rotation of the spinning rotor. The rotor insert () comprises a yarn guide conduit () that receives the yarn shank () to effect a retardation of the rotor insert () during normal spinning operation, which significantly improves the stability of the spinning process over known open-end spinning devices.

An open-end spinning device (1) with a spinning rotor (3) whose rotor cup rotates at a high speed in a vacuum-loaded rotor housing (2) closable by a conduit plate (27). The spinning rotor (3) is supported with its rotor shaft (4) in the bearing nip of a support-disk bearing (5) free of axial thrust and positioned in axial direction by a magnet bearing (18). The direction of rotation (S, Z) of the spinning rotor (3) can be selectively set via the direction of the rotor drive (V or R). The conduit plate (27) comprises a receptacle (34) in which exchangeable conduit-plate adapters (12.sub.S or 12.sub.Z) can be fixed in coordination with the particular direction of rotation (S or Z) of the spinning rotor (3).

A yarn withdrawal nozzle (20) for an open-end rotor spinning device (1) has a yarn inlet zone (29) tapering in a funnel-like manner into a yarn withdrawal conduit (21), with the yarn inlet zone being formed with both a spiral structure (30) as well as additional notches (34) in the inlet area of the yarn withdrawal conduit (21). As viewed in the yarn withdrawal direction (A), the notches (34) are either arranged following the spiral structure (30) or at least partially in the area of the spiral structure (30).

An open-end spinning device has a spinning rotor (3) supported by its rotor shaft (4) in the bearing nip of a support-disk bearing (5) and positioned by a magnetic thrust bearing (18). The magnetic thrust bearing (18) comprises a stationary bearing component (41) with permanent-magnet rings (42, 43) which are enclosed by pole disks (44, 45, 46) and a replaceably arranged bearing component formed of ferromagnetic annular attachments (32, 33, 34) arranged on the rotor shaft (4) which rotate with the spinning rotor. The rotor shaft (4) comprises on one end a bearing area (35) with offset diameter and with at least three ferromagnetic annular elements (32, 33, 34) arranged at the spacing of the pole disks (44, 45, 46), with the ferromagnetic annular elements being optimized as regards their design and arrangement.
