Three structural components meet at a structural node for a motor vehicle bodywork. The structural components are fitted together from at least one outer part and one an inner part in each case. A reinforcement part is arranged in a hollow space formed in one of the structural components and is fixed to the inner part of at least a first structural part and the outer part of at least a second structural part.

A motor vehicle body includes a rear wheel housing with a wheel well that accommodates a rear wheel and a wall section upwardly projecting form the wheel well. A C-pillar inner wall is fastened to the wall section along a first fastening zone and overlaps an opening formed in the wall section between the first fastening zone and wheel well. A weld joins the C-pillar inner wall and a C-pillar outer wall together at the level of the opening.

The present disclosure provides a support structure component for connecting a spring strut to a vehicle body. The support structure component includes a connection section for connecting to the vehicle body and at least one flange section having a spring strut mount configured to mount a spring strut. A roof panel for the passenger cabin of a motor vehicle includes a composite or plastic panel-like body and a metal frame that runs continuously along a periphery of the plastic body. The metal frame prevents the thermal expansion of the plastic body at high temperatures, so the expansion of the entire roof panel approximates that of an equivalent metal roof panel. Specifically, the uninterrupted encircling structure of the frame absorbs forces resulting from thermal expansion of the plastic body.

A motor vehicle door is configured to hingedly mount to the body of a motor vehicle. The door includes a door structure having a hinge reinforcement arranged on an interior side of the door structure. The hinge reinforcement includes a respective mounting flange section abutting the door structure on at least two opposing outer edges and a force absorption area between the at least two opposing mounting flange sections. The force absorption area is situated at a distance from the door structure to define a hollow space there between. The force absorption area is supported against the door structure by at least one bushing.

A hood, for example a front hood, for a motor vehicle body is described. The hood includes an outer skin and a stiffening structure covered by the outer skin. A side member of a vehicle chassis structure is disclosed as having a front section, two rear sections running on the same side of the vehicle center, and a branching section that connects the front and rear sections. The present disclosure relates to a rear fender module for arrangement on a side panel of a motor vehicle body. The rear fender module includes a fender shell and at least one add-on part arranged thereon. The fender shell has at least two fastening sites for detachable fastening on the side panel.
