A mechanical system has a component, which is movable under friction. An oscillating micromotion (dither) is impressed upon the component, which, if necessary, is added to a non-oscillating base motion of the component. It is provided that the micromotion (without the base motion that is additional, if necessary) is faster within a period of the oscillation in the one direction and is of shorter duration than in the opposite direction (asymmetrical dither).

Method for operating a mechanical system, particularly a proportioning valve

A hydraulic block (), in particular for an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, includes at least one valve socket () for accommodating a pressure control valve or switching valve () and a hydraulic medium at an inlet pressure on an inlet side (). The hydraulic block () includes at least one annular seal () encompassing a valve body () in the region of the at least one valve socket ().

A pressure regulating valve () includes a magnet coil () received in a coil body (), an armature () movable relative to a pole piece () for actuating a valve closing member (), and a magnetic circuit () containing a magnet yoke (). The magnetic circuit () has a maximum of three components () that together form magnetic transitions () oriented in the axial direction.

An electromagnetic directional control valve has a magnetic part including a coil body, a coil arrangement of the coil body, a magnetic pole mounted on the coil body, a flux guiding element, and an armature, and a hydraulic part provided with passages and at least one valve which controls a pressure medium flow to the passages, and an outwardly mounted fixing element which fixes the magnetic pole on the coil body.

The feed assembly (14) has a feed pump (20) with a vane wheel (24) rotating in a pump chamber (30). The pump chamber (30) is delimited in the direction of the axis of rotation (25) of the vane wheel (24) by two walls (32, 34) , one wall (32) of which is arranged in a stationary manner. The other wall (34) is guided movably in the direction of the axis of rotation (25) in a cylindrical wall portion (50) and, on its end face facing away from the vane wheel (24), is loaded at least in regions by the feed pressure prevailing on the delivery side of the feed pump (20). When the feed assembly (14) is in Operation, there acts on the movable wall (34) a pressure force which presses this against the vane wheel (24) and the latter against the stationary wall (32), so that the vane wheel (24) is arranged in the pump chamber (30) without axial play in the direction of the axis of rotation (25). Jamming of the vane wheel (24) is not possible, since the movable wall (34) can shift in the direction of the axis of rotation (25).

A fuel pump has a pump housing, and a rotor rotatable in the pump housing and having an outer surface. The housing has an inner wall which faces the rotor and forms with the outer surface of the rotor a narrow gap. The inner wall is provided with a plurality of depressions which are independent from one another and form a sealing region.

A fuel supply assembly for feeding fuel to an internal combustion engine and comprising a gear pump that includes a ring gear having inner teeth, and a pinion arranged eccentrically with respect to said ring gear and having outer teeth meshing with the inner teeth of the ring gear and defining therewith expanding and contracting chambers during operation of the pump, the pump further including an outer support element for movably supporting the ring gear and including a supporting surface which engages a portion of the outer surface of the ring gear and is located radially outside of a discharge opening of the pump.
